RESPONSIBILITIES
Be able to provide a session report for our office and families within twenty-four hours of each tutoring session.
Effectively balance tutoring hours given for each assigned student
Successfully and professionally teach students to fit their individual needs

Follow-up with office when a student's enrollment package is low on hours

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Tutors will be asked to attend a 2 hour Pre-program onboarding meeting and will be compensated for their time.
Every week tutors will be compensated for their time, both in-person and asynchronously.
Approximately 4 hours per week:
IN-PERSON:
Tutors will be compensated for all time with students:
Two 1 hour in-person sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:20 - 4:20pm
ASYNCHRONOUS:
Tutors will also be compensated for any time they spend to support their students:
(ex. planning for implementation of lessons, reviewing student work and providing feedback - max 2 hrs/wk)
Minimum Requirements:
Experience and confidence in teaching mathematics. Experience teaching middle school mathematics; Completion of or currently working towards a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college/university; experience dealing with diverse student populations and familiarity working in an urban setting preferred.
