The Young Scholars Program (YSP) provides educational opportunities to rising fifth and sixth graders through 14 months of academic preparation and leadership development before placement in independent day and junior boarding schools. Young Scholars begin their work with SEEDS during a five-week summer session (Step 1) before continuing classes each Saturday throughout the school year (Step 2). Overview
Role:The BRICK Education Network seeks to hire Math Tutors who work directly with lead math teachers to support scholars in reaching their math goals. The tutor role is ideal for someone working towards their Bachelor's degree and/or working towards a career change to enter the teaching profession. The tutor works with students one-on-one and in small groups.
Essential Functions
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
