Job Summary
Behavioral Aides, also known as behavior intervention paraprofessionals or interventionists, work under the supervision of teachers to support students with behavioral challenges.We are seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students, possess strong math and literacy education skills, and excel in classroom and behavior management.
What You'll Do
Instruction: Providing supplemental instruction to individual students or small groups
Behavior: Monitoring student behavior and communication, redirecting inappropriate behaviors, and administering behavior intervention programs
Social and emotional development: Helping students build social skills and foster healthy concepts
Materials: Assisting teachers in developing and using materials to enhance learning
Clerical: Preparing, typing, duplicating, and filing instructional materials, maintaining student records, and sending and receiving emails
Problem-solving: Participating in the Problem-Solving Model-Response to Intervention (PSM-RtI) process to help determine intervention plans and Individualized Education Program (IEP) services
Communication: Attending team and parent meetings and providing input on student strengths and weaknesses
What You'll Bring
A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
An individual who is at least eighteen 18 years of age; and
Can demonstrate the knowledge, have the skills needed to support the program to which they are assigned; and
Meet the paraprofessional requirements as defined in IDAPA 08.02.02, Rules Governing Uniformity.
Previous experience working with children in a school setting, daycare, or Montessori environment is a plus!
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organizations facilities.

The Summer Day Camp Teacher is responsible for creating an environment with a teaching team that promotes each child's development and supports children and their family's diverse needs and interest.
Schedule:
We offer a variety of flexible schedules. This is a seasonal position with full-time and part-time schedules available. Operations are Monday through Friday from 7:00am-6:00pm. Hiring will begin in April and training starts mid-May. Pay: $15.15 - $18.94/hr DOE.
