First Grade Bilingual Teacher Étoile Academy teachers are responsible for executing our mission by ensuring that all students improve academically and demonstrate our core values. As a First Grade Bilingual Teacher, you will provide high-quality, data-driven instruction, ensuring that Emergent Bilingual students receive the linguistic and academic support they need to succeed. Utilize student performance data to personalize learning and ensure student academic growth, particularly for English Language Learners. Maintain consistent communication with students and families regarding academic progress, including daily and weekly updates. Integrate technology as a tool for learning, communication, and work-related tasks. Implement clear, consistent behavior management strategies and foster a strong sense of classroom community. Support school-wide initiatives by participating in arrival, lunch, and dismissal duties. Attend and engage in staff meetings, open houses, and parent-teacher conferences.
