Boys & Girls Clubs of Providence 2025 Summer Learning Program Position: Summer Learning Educator (must be certified in Rhode Island at the elementary or middle school level). Reports to: Summer Learning Program Manager and Summer Learning Program Instructional Coach Dates: Training June 25, 26, 27. Program runs July 7 through August 15, 2025. (No program on August 8 or 11.) Payrate: $42.00/hour (for teachers new to the BGCP Summer Learning Program). Approximately 16 hours/week (not to exceed 128 hours for the summer, including teaching, pre-program training, and prep time). This is a seasonal position. Description and Responsibilities Community Connections is a Day Habilitation program that serves adults between the ages of 23-66 with a primary diagnosis of intellectual disabilities, though some individuals may also have mental health diagnoses and/or physical challenges. Most participants require supportive structures and staff assistance to maximize their involvement in activities within the program as well as within the local community. Our staff educate through the creation and implementation of individualized service plans, daily curriculum/activities, and have a heavy focus on community integration.
