Boys & Girls Clubs of Providence 2025 Summer Learning Program Position: Summer Learning Educator (must be certified in Rhode Island at the elementary or middle school level). Reports to: Summer Learning Program Manager and Summer Learning Program Instructional Coach Dates: Training June 25, 26, 27. Program runs July 7 through August 15, 2025. (No program on August 8 or 11.) Payrate: $42.00/hour (for teachers new to the BGCP Summer Learning Program). PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: * Works with a certified staff member to ascertain the educational needs and plans an instructional program for assigned students. * Under the supervision of a certified staff member, implements an instructional program for each assigned student. * Meets with assigned students on a regularly scheduled basis to provide small group instruction in a push-in setting. * Works collaboratively with certified staff members to discuss the progress of each assigned student. * Keeps and maintains reports on student progress and records of mandated weekly instructional minutes for each student. * Assumes responsibility for obtaining appropriate textbooks and other teaching materials from a certified staff member. * Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal and/or ESOL Teacher.
