The Rutgers-Camden Faculty of Arts and Sciences Dean's Office is seeking instructors to lead its MCAT workshop course that is offered to undergraduate students for academic credit. The course may utilize materials from a test preparation company such as Kaplan and will be supplemented by American Association of Medical Colleges ( AAMC ) materials and direct instruction. We seek instructors who can teach at least one of the following sections: Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems; Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems; Psychological, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behavior; and In-person teaching in Camden, NJ is strongly preferred but we will consider offering a section through synchronous virtual instruction if in-person teaching is not possible. This program allows Fellows to earn an M.Ed. in Special Education and Delaware state licensure within two years. In the second year, Fellows engage in a school district teaching residency, receiving an additional stipend while gaining hands-on classroom experience. Fellows are placed in elementary schools across Delaware, providing specialized reading instruction to kindergarten through third-grade students who face significant literacy challenges. Fellows play a critical role in building foundational reading skills for students who may not thrive through traditional instruction.
