Boys & Girls Clubs of Providence 2025 Summer Learning Program Position: Summer Learning Educator (must be certified in Rhode Island at the elementary or middle school level). Reports to: Summer Learning Program Manager and Summer Learning Program Instructional Coach Dates: Training June 25, 26, 27. Program runs July 7 through August 15, 2025. (No program on August 8 or 11.) Payrate: $42.00/hour (for teachers new to the BGCP Summer Learning Program). Approximately 16 hours/week (not to exceed 128 hours for the summer, including teaching, pre-program training, and prep time). This is a seasonal position. Please note: This position is contingent upon final approval of grant funding. Summer Learning Program components include math and language arts instruction aligned with state standards, hands-on activities and other age-appropriate learning experiences. A Teacher Assistant from our current staff provides support for the Teacher in the classroom. The program will feature the iReady curriculum. Assess students' understanding regularly with ambitious learning goals in mind, and take ownership of making necessary adjustments to instruction to reach goals.
