Full-time Description
A Fuel Driver is responsible for delivering loads of petroleum products to customer locations in a safe, efficient manner, and within a specified window of time, at the direction of dispatch. These deliveries may take place 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year, in nearly any kind of weather.
This position has a competitive compensation package including a Quarterly Driver Safety Bonus Program up to $1,500.00.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver loads in a safe and timely manner
Correctly follow all Offen policies and procedures as well as local and federal laws
Safely operate a variety of equipment, including (but not limited to) power units, power take off, hydraulic pumps, gravity drop tank trailers and tank wagons
Wear company uniforms and use all required personal protective equipment at each terminal and customer location
Follow all current Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration rules and regulations
Comply with mandatory drug and alcohol standards
Ensure that the company vehicle is safe and reliable to operate and is serviced on a regular basis; ensure repair needs are brought to the attention of the service manager
Maintain and abide by legal, electronic logs, and maintain a paper log if necessary
Attend required driver training and safety meetings
Properly and timely complete delivery paperwork and turn in at the end of every shift

POSITION PURPOSE:
The Driver is responsible for delivering a variety of heavy machinery and equipment serving the construction and industrial industries within a local geographical area. Ability to safely load and unload equipment; deliver to customer locations and job sites in a timely manner. Complies with all Federal and State laws.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Pick up and deliver heavy machinery and equipment to assigned locations
Ensure proper loading and unloading of equipment and ensure stability and proper securement of the load per company and DOT guidelines
Instruct customers on the safe operations of the equipment
Perform pre-delivery and pre-pickup inspections of equipment
Record deliveries and appropriate paperwork in a timely manner, including mileage logs and fuel receipts
Perform minor repairs and maintenance to equipment
Maintain truck and trailer cleanliness and appearance
Complete daily vehicle inspection reports
Maintain a culture of safety and participates in all safety meetings
Maintain required training and safety certifications
Perform other related duties as assigned

We are currently seeking 10 EXPERIENCED CLASS A CDL TRUCK DRIVERS to join our growing fleet. Our unload process entails using roll-tainers, toppers, and totes. Drivers will liftgate roll-tainers of product to the back doors of stores. We prefer that you have some form of start/stop retail (touch freight) experience and we also require the following for experience:
