POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Night Shipping Supervisor, under the supervision of the Operations Manager, is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse activities such as supervising staff, training, food safety, safety, and warehouse maintenance.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Night Shipping Supervisor is responsible for supervising and leading warehouse staff, ensuring they meet productivity and safety standards.
Ensure compliance with safety codes, policies, and procedures of the Company and standards established by Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA).
Champion safety procedures, processes, and training to create and maintain a safety-first culture in the warehouse.
Ensure compliance of Safe Quality Food (SQF)
Conduct regular safety inspections.
Oversee warehouse maintenance, including equipment, facilities, and cleanliness.
Coordinate repairs and maintenance tasks as needed to ensure a smooth operation.
Manage the organization of products and optimize warehouse space.
Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers.
Working closely with the Warehouse Operations Managers to provide constant improvements to existing processes.
Performs additional duties as requested.
Assist other departments as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS:

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
