Responsibilities
The Occupational Therapy Assistant - Journey Traveler must be able to travel nationwide for 13 week assignments. This position provides flexibility to travel the country and work in various settings. On assignment the Occupational Therapy Assistant implements occupational therapy programs and provides occupational therapy treatments to patients to facilitate increased independence and functioning, under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and other required meetings as a representative of occupational therapy, under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.
Responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of rehab services; adherence to an established plan of care, department and patient(s)' schedule, and timely documentation of services.
Works with other members of the rehabilitation team to develop programs and activities consistent with the needs and capabilities of each patient.
Instructs patients, families and other caregivers in the skills and techniques of the occupational therapy treatment program under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
Maintains appropriate and timely documentation for all patients treated.
Cleans, maintains, identifies, and reports the need for repair of equipment, as necessary.

BACKGROUND: Experience Columbus and the Greater Columbus Sports Commission, whose mission is to help make Greater Columbus an appealing destination to visit, understands the critical role tourism plays in workforce development and the economic vitality of a community. After all, Greater Columbus welcomes 43 million visitors each year which generates 7.6 billion dollars in local business. The tourism and hospitality industry supports nearly 78,600 jobs in Franklin County.
BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) talent and leadership is vastly underrepresented in our industry. Experience Columbus has partnered with Tourism Diversity Matters to form a Diversity Apprenticeship Program. This program offers emerging BIPOC leaders to gain firsthand experience working in destination marketing and the travel and hospitality industry.
The beauty of travel has always been its ability to expose us to people, places, and experiences different from our own. Experience Columbus, the Greater Columbus Sports Commission and over thirty Columbus partners are thrilled to offer this reimagined program to create more leadership pathways for BIPOC individuals in the tourism industry.
OBJECTIVE: The Diversity Apprenticeship program will provide hands on, on-the-job experience for people who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, Person of Color) to work across multiple departments (i.e., administration, guest service, food and beverage, marketing, sales, finance, etc.) in travel industry organizations. The Apprenticeship Program is structured to position the apprentice for long-term professional success in a leadership capacity in the travel industry.
STRUCTURE: The central terms of the Diversity Apprenticeship program are as follows:
An apprentice who self identifies as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, Person of Color)
Providing at least 600 hours of substantial experience working within the tourism industry.
Pay rate is $18/hour
The goal of the program is a full-time job offer, at a managerial level or higher, upon the apprentices' successful completion of the program.
APPRENTICESHIP OVERVIEW: During the 6-month program, the apprentice will be employed by Experience Columbus, however, will spend most of the program hours in one, two or even three different participating partner organizations. The apprentice will have the opportunity to prioritize the tracks by interest. Although, we cannot guarantee your preferred track, we will try our best to accommodate applicants based on their preferences.

Cresco Labs is seeking a Cultivation Agent to join our facility. The Cultivation Agent is responsible for providing on-site cultivation support to our Yellow Springs cannabis gardens. The agent is responsible for the completion of tasks assigned by the Cultivation Team Supervisor to monitor and maintain plant production and health. This individual will maintain quality control measures to ensure a high-quality product. Maintain organization, cleanliness and efficiency of production area. Main duties will entail carrying out day-to-day plant care including watering, pruning, harvesting, etc.... Must monitor and maintain plant production and quality control measures in accordance with the commonwealth and standards set by Cresco Labs.
CORE JOB DUTIES
Plant Care:
Ensure plant health by pruning, topping, skirting, and defoliating according to Cresco Labs policy, as well as any other tasks required.
Moving plants in an orderly, time efficient manner from one area of the cultivation facility to another
Moving Rockwool blocks for transplanting plants
Transplanting clones to mom/prop blocks.
Harvesting Plants in an orderly time efficient manner
Readying harvested plants for Fresh Frozen process
Facility Cleaning:
Perform all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe cultivation facility, including the safe disposal of waste and mopping.
Responsible for the daily cleanliness of all cultivation equipment and tools including light reflectors, containers, mixing tools, application tools, and ventilation equipment.
Reports and Documentation:
Assist the Cultivation Supervisor with tracking plants from birth to harvest by ensuring proper and accurate documentation for applicable activities.
Ensure accurate documentation of all plant tracking numbers, lot numbers, and all other applicable information.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
Two years experience in general production, preferably a regulated field producing for human consumption. Or, any satisfactory combination of experience and training which clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the above-described duties.
Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task
Ability to perform the job duties in indoor and greenhouse climates of varying weather conditions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment.
Requires work around plant material, which could include exposure to plant pollen and/or dust.
