    Our client, a direct to consumer ecommerce company, is looking for a Spanish Translator to join their communications team! This is a primarily remote position with occasional travel needed into the home office in Mansfield MA. As a hybrid/remote position, an ideal workspace is needed to ensure comfort and privacy for sensitive information. The Spanish Translator will play an integral role in developing and translating marketing communications that define, support and reinforce brand and program initiatives. You will produce clear, creative, benefit-driven copy and translations across several channels, including catalog, social media and web, for marketing, sales and corporate communications. You will also contribute to the development and/or translations of promotional campaigns, including new product and incentive launches. Responsibilities: Translate and/or adapt copy from English to Spanish and/or from Spanish to English for consumer catalogs, videos, product literature, new program announcements, hosts/customer incentives, sales promotions, field magazine, web, social media, and additional collateral Proofread and copy edit for grammar, content relevance, clarity and style, in both languages Write and translate from English to Spanish while maintaining consistent brand messaging throughout all communications. Assist, as needed, in the translation/transcreation/adaptation of scripts for field events in both languages Collaborate with designers, as needed, to translate copy concepts into compelling, effective communication vehicles use of infographics and videos Conduct field interviews (primarily via telephone) and write testimonials in both languages. Qualifications: Bilingual professional writing skills, reading comprehension and speaking (English/Spanish) required Minimum of 3-5 years writing experience, in both languages with emphasis in Spanish, preferably in a Corporate Communications Department or Advertising Agency at a professional level. Proficient personal computer skills, working knowledge of PC mainly, Mac not crucial, Word, Excel and Power Point are required. Proficient in navigating social media channels with the goal of developing and/or adapting content that's relevant to the platform. Able to write culturally relevant copy in both languages at a professional level (English/Spanish) with emphasis in Spanish. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations is required. The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from executive staff, group managers, clients, and customers is required. Able to travel to field events and/or video shoots quarterly or two times a year.
