There were many pros of working at Transcendia when it was family owned. Once it became corporate owned the company went down hill. Use to jump out of bed excited to go to work, but then it became stressful and more of a challenge to go in.
The company got leaders that didn’t care about the opinions of long term employees. This resulted into a lack of maintaining the equipment properly and the equipment was not safe to work around. Also other work practices came down from upper management making it an unsafe work environment.
As time passed, the perks and benefits were being taken away. As a supervisor with 28 years of service, I was unable to cash in vacation time anymore. My hourly employees working under me were able to cash in 60 hours of personal time per year. Also, we were reduced to 4 weeks vacation time, from 5 weeks. Did not stick around to see what else would be taken away!
. The leadership team put in place while I was there brought their own team in to run the show.
Too late for me, but I would have listened to the opinions of the employees like myself that had spent years building the company to what it was.

At the time I was employed there, it was below standard. It is my understanding that it was forced to improve after Covid and other issues reduced the number of available workers.
The demographics were much more diverse in Chicago than in Richmond,Indiana.
Being appreciated and respected as a long time employee. This was not the case at the end of my employment, due to the management changes.
Best job I ever had! Been there for a few months. Have gotten multiple promotions already. Have never seen my hard work pay off so quick!
