JOB SUMMARY
PetSmarts Pet Training Instructor is responsible for engaging with pet parents and their pets while providing positive experiences and upholding the companys vision, mission, values, and strategy. They will actively seek out pets and pet parents to educate them on the benefits of pet training and will deliver pet training services in accordance with PetSmarts curriculum.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following and may vary depending on store characteristics and needs:
Responsible for pet parent experience and outcomes conducted over the telephone, in person or online, and responding to pet parent concerns.
Actively sell training classes in store, over the phone and online.
Educates pet parents about the benefits of our entire pet training curriculum.
Maintains all paperwork related to pet training.
Educates fellow associates and acts as the subject matter expert for their location on the benefits of pet training.
Schedules training classes as outlined by the Company expectations.

Recognize associates for their contributions to selling pet training.

QUALIFICATIONS
1-2 years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment.
Accredited in PetSmart Training Instructor Course
Proficiency in computer applications.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Prepares trainee examination and conducts trainee evaluations for classroom, laboratory, OJT, and simulator environments, as appropriate and conducts counseling sessions for trainees, evaluates the results, and recommends/develops individualized training programs.
Support station and fleet in the areas of business initiatives, project management, refuel outage support, EP duties, and special projects.
Participates in NRC, INPO and management audits, and prepares responses to audit findings.
Maintains knowledge of plant operations, disciplinary skills and techniques, commensurate with the responsibility to develop and conduct effective, high quality training.
Supervises the collection and maintenance of auditable training records and reports required to document training program activities.

The Training Lead/Coordinator is responsible for maintaining NITAAC GWAC training presentations; scheduling and coordinating virtual and in-person training sessions with federal agencies; working with the Outreach team to encourage agencies to sign up for training; and working with NITAAC Leadership to prepare the agenda for GWAC Contract Holder Monthly and Quarterly Meetings. Application of business acumen, personal initiative, and other competencies are required daily. Expect to participate in complex tasks and to make a difference for the NIH customer.

GI Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship Endoscopic Ultrasound / ERCP Fellowship Division of Gastroenterology Georgetown University Hospital offers a one-year training program in advanced endoscopy starting July 1 of each academic year. Since its inception in 1990, the program has graduated numerous successful academic and practicing endoscopists with expertise in advanced endoscopic techniques. Individuals are appointed for one year as a junior attending at Georgetown University Hospital (GUH) and are expected to participate in ongoing clinical research projects during their year of training.
The Advanced Endoscopy fellowship at MGUH is affiliated with the Department of Internal Medicine and the Division of Gastroenterology at the same institution. All advanced procedures are performed at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, which is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). No additional certification currently exists for this fellowship program. All of our faculty members who perform these procedures and teach fellows are members of the Division of Gastroenterology and have undergone additional advanced training during or after gastroenterology fellowship. These physicians therefore are highly qualified to lead and teach this program to trainees. Approximately 1000 ERCPs and 1200 EUS examinations are performed annually at this program, which is among the highest volume centers in the nation. While the majority of the patients come from the local community and surrounding states, a small portion (10%) comes from other states. Since our hospital is a tertiary referral center, a wide spectrum of highly complex diseases are encountered which adds to the depth of training of our advanced fellows.
The goal of the fellowship program is to teach trainees interested in advanced endoscopy who will further the field. **Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, or work/military experience.
+ Seven (7) years of experience with the required system as either a maintenance technician supervisor or operator supervisor with responsibility for teaching the applicable system or function task to others in a journeyman level training environment. Of the five years, one (1) year of experience as an instructor in a Navy Training Environment, to include curriculum maintenance, writing learning objectives, preparing test items, evaluating instructional materials and the results of instruction and counseling students on academic learning problems.
+ Additional Qualifications: Current or past ACNT NECs V00C/V69A or V01C/V75A. Must be able to support training with extended periods on your feet while instructing. Travel may be required up to 10% of time. SCSTC/ATRC/TACTRAGRU is a significant plus. Must be able to support training with extended periods on your feet while instructing.
