ATC Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities will be to evaluate, plan, direct, document, and administer programs of athletic training & rehabilitation.
Documents athletic training encounters completely and in a timely manner (day of or within 24 hours) in the electronic records system.
Works closely with other disciplines and specialties within the health system to ensure highly coordinated care.
Communicates professionally & effectively with physicians, other clinical staff and leadership.
As an MUSC Health brand ambassador, develops trust with the coaching staff, Athletic Directors, student-athletes, and parents through effective communication and coordinated high-quality care.
Works closely with the Sports Medicine Coordinator (ATC) to coordinate the athlete's schedule, and treatment programs, and recommends solutions for the athlete's healthcare problems.
Conducts athlete intake assessments and maintains medical records for all athletes in our electronic medical record.
Attends annual conferences and MUSC Health staff meetings.
Performs clerical tasks such as assisting with budgets, restocking supplies and maintaining inventory.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience:
Must be able to adjust communication both verbal and non-verbal to interact appropriately and effectively with a wide variety of age groups including school-age adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Weekend and evening hours to cover games, practices, tournaments, special events and sports performance training sessions.
Previous experience with high school, collegiate and/or professional sport teams preferred.
Job includes local and travel responsibilities: pre- and post-game treatment as well as game, practice, and event coverage.

Duties & Accountabilities
Train site Molders on how to appropriately:
* Follow established procedures to apply material by hand and/or machine to produce standard and nonstandard components and products
* Prepare mold or tool surface properly with release film, wax and other part release products
* Utilize resin, glass, catalyst, mold releases and related materials, adjusting for changing climatic conditions
* Trim parts to the proper dimensions based on process sheets, established standards, drawings and verbal instructions
* Inspect laminate surfaces for defects, imperfections, foreign material or other non-conformance, identifying and correcting as necessary
* Utilize machines, equipment, and hand tools
* Complete evaluations
* Team calls/project reviews Work with members of the Talent Development team and other functional areas to enhance training plan/SOPs

Qualifications

Position Summary
· Performs on-the-job, group, and one-on-one trainings with Environmental Monitoring (EM) program personnel.
· Coordinates and utilizes different departments and resources for task specific trainings.
· The EM Trainer is an expert on monitoring performed as an EM Technician I, II, and III.
· Assists with additional work duties or responsibilities as evident or required.

Assists in environmental monitoring, as well as collecting water for injection (WFI) samples and sample enumeration, as needed, or during course of training activities.
Routinely reviews employee errors for training effectiveness; uses GDP and sampling errors as a training tool by reviewing with employees and emphasizing the importance of proper documentation.
Works collaboratively with management to identify and develop key training needs throughout the EM program.
Executes data entry and/or form completion accurately; teaches other EM personnel how to appropriately document tasks, whether electronically or physically.
Establishes a constructive learning environment and relationship with the trainee to encourage advice seeking and maximize learning opportunities.
Communicates quality-related observations, issues, problems, discrepancies, and any other violations of company policies or procedures to EM Supervisor, EM Assistant Manager, EM Program Manager, Director of Microbiology, or designee.
Promotes teamwork within the EM team and other departments.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
· Bachelor's degree with a science background, preferred.
o At least 1 year of Environmental Monitoring or Quality experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical environment.
