Duties include regular communication with medical personnel, evaluating samples for pre-transfusion testing acceptability, routine dispensing of blood products to patient care units, and dispensing of uncross matched blood in emergency situations. In 2025, the LHIP intern will support Zion's youth programs by creating their own Junior Ranger programs to be presented at Zion's Nature Center and other areas of the park. The Junior Ranger programs will be based on Zion's interpretive themes and inspired by its natural and cultural resources.
