Summary: Looking for a Business Development Manager based in Columbus or Cleveland, to work with a very tenured sales team (+7 years on average), with great opportunity to earn a great income. This role would report to a Regional Sales Manager.
Below is what we're looking for in the ideal candidate:
Must have proven Travel Industry Sales experience.
Experienced BDM with a history of working for a Tour Operator selling Group Travel or selling directly to Affinity Groups.
Someone who is familiar with worldwide guided tours (Europe, Asia, Africa, Cuba, Central & South America, Australia, New Zealand, USA & Canada) and have sold this type of product to groups.
A BDM who has also sold European River Cruises and/or Small Ship Adventures.
Ability to learn and work on new tech systems/CRM, as well as manage analytics and work with the Marketing Department.
Someone who is autonomous and can work a list of prospects.
Someone who can work with a growing inside support team to meet goals.
A BDM who understands the demands of traveling, driving, working from the road and visiting clients within an assigned territory.
Compensation:
Our client treats their salespeople well, and we do not unfairly raise their sales goals (minimum sales threshold before they earn commission).
First-year base salary is $75k
Uncapped bonus commission based on revenue
Additional incentives / commission for hitting specific targets for some products
Significant part of the bonus paid quarterly

Zip Line Tour Guide
Rockbridge, OH
Hocking Hills Canopy Tours in Rockbridge, OH, is looking for Zip Line Tour Guides for the 2025 season! Interviews will begin in February with training weeks being available in April, May and June. We are located at 10714 Jackson St. in Rockbridge, Ohio. Our ideal candidates are self-driven, ambitious, and hard-working. Wages start at $14.50/hr with tips and opportunity for raises and season end bonus.
Responsibilities
Instructing and leading groups of up to 9 guests through our 3-hour Zip line tours. This position requires applicants to be very safety conscious and comfortable working in the outdoors (All weather) and at heights. Applicants are preferred to have strong presentation skills and be knowledgeable or willing and able to learn the local natural history, environment, and ecology of the region. They also must be prepared to accept responsibility in real risk scenarios while calmly managing participants at heights.
Qualifications
At least 18 years of age.
Valid drivers license.
Able to work at heights, including traversing along cables over 70 feet above ground.
Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Minimum height of 5'4'' and maximum weight of 250 lbs.

Assist guests with their landing on every approach during the tour
