FIRST CUTTER: Hourly Lead Person in the Meat Department and responsible for supervising the Department's production activity while working as a senior Meat Cutter. This person's primary duties involve creating and maintaining the Department's cutting list, prioritizing tasks, assigning jobs, and supervising the work of the Cutting Room crew including ordering, receiving and checking-in perishable and non-perishable merchandise, cooler and freezer organization, customer service, product rotation, inventory [Backstock Control], cutting, packaging, sanitation, and housekeeping. Job Title: General Laborer / Saw & Part Cutter Company: Firelands Fabrication Reports to: Shop Supervisor FLSA: Hourly The General Laborer/Saw & Part Cutter is responsible for performing various tasks in the fabrication department, including operating saws and other cutting equipment to cut parts according to specifications. Essential Functions: Operate horizontal band saws and other cutting equipment to cut metal, plastic, and other materials to specified dimensions. Operate Hydraulic punch/shear equipment (Ironworker) Operate Plasma plate cutting equipment Grind and wire wheel steel plate Operate Brake Press Paint steel Load/unload trucks Other duties as assigned.
