Mohs Technicians are an essential part of the Mohs procedure, by creating quality microscopic slides we are able to deliver fast-same day results to doctors and patients regarding their skin cancer.
We are mobile Lab Technicians, which means we travel and commute to our clients (Doctors) and set up our lab at their location. Some of these locations include; Sonoma City, Napa City, Marin City, Contra Costa City, San Francisco City, Alameda City and Santa Clara City.
Your Responsibilities:
Commuting to client's offices (1 client per day - Using company vehicle)
Set up mobile lab prior to receiving first tissue specimen.
Receive and properly perform grossing techniques to ink and embed tissue ensuring complete representation of vital margins and maintain proper orientation.
Prepare sections of human tissue for immediate examination using the frozen section technique.
Freeze, cut, mount, and stain tissue specimen received from Mohs surgeon.
Coverslip slides.
Ensure that tissue and slide preparation meet laboratory requirements.
Assist in the training of other Mohs Technicians
Requirements
At least 1 year of experience as a Mohs Technician required.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent
Strong interest in medical laboratory fields.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects up to 30 pounds.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs and Google Workspace.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Interest is Science, Medical and/or Laboratory fields.

To succeed in this role, you should bring:
Educational and Licensing Requirements: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A or B). High School diploma preferred. Driver must qualify as not prohibited in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
Skills: Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking). Acceptable CSA and MVR record; no DUI/DWI in the last 5 years and no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to the construction and transportation industry. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and guidance from supervisors. Knowledge of traffic routes and basic maintenance skills for truck upkeep (desirable).

Manson is currently recruiting for full-time, seasonal interns for field engineers and assistant estimators. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to rotate between the two positions working in the field as well as in the office to instill a well-rounded knowledge vital to marine construction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Additional duties may be assigned.
Field Engineer for Dredging or Construction assignments
Reporting of daily activities of a construction crew
Cost and implementation comparison of as-built construction activities to the as-bid estimates
Quantity tracking
Falsework design
Coordinate with project foremen and superintendents to write work procedures for activities
Hydrographic surveying for dredging operations
Estimating assignments
Quantity takeoffs
Reading job specific specifications and standard specifications
Subcontractor comparisons
Engineers estimates
Job scheduling
Falsework and Equipment Design work
Cost analysis
Ensures compliance with Manson's Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Candidates for intern positions should be actively enrolled and pursuing degrees in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Ocean, or Coastal), or Construction Management, or another engineering related course of study from a four-year nationally accredited college or university.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) and current registration as an Engineer in Training preferred.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic knowledge of AutoCAD required; experience with scheduling software preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position is primarily a field position, and will require travel, including visits and monitoring of construction job sites. Employee must be able to wear the personal protective equipment (PPE) required of various construction work environments (hard hats, personal floatation devices, safety glasses, gloves, safety-toed shoes, respirators, etc.). The employee is required to stand, walk, use stairs, ladders, and step stools and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to navigate stairs, ladders and gangways, board, work on and disembark floating vessels and structures. The noise level is moderate to loud. The employee may be required to sit for extended periods of time.
