Key Responsibilities:
Train all kitchen personnel to ensure that their duties are being carried out in an appropriate manner.

Our Security department is currently seeking a Part Time Security Screener who is passionate about learning new things and giving our guests the best possible experience. In order to reach our goals at The Toledo Zoo & Aquarium, we need great people who believe in and will strive to achieve our goals and objectives.
This role involves operating and inspecting security screening equipment, including walk-through metal detectors and handhelds wands, to ensure proper functionality and accuracy. Responsibilities include conducting guest screening, bag checks, identifying potential threats, assisting ground patrol and working closely with security personnel and law enforcement to maintain a safe environment. The candidate must be able to prepare reports, monitor for criminal activity, and provide professional assistance to guest while ensuring compliance with security procedures.
This position reports to the Director of Security with general oversight by the Security Supervisor. It is a non-exempt part-time position under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Minimum Training & Qualifications
Must have High School diploma/GED.
Prior security related experience, law enforcement, or military background preferred.
Must be 18 years of age.
Valid drivers' license and the ability to be insurable by the fleet insurance carrier.
Requires flexibility in work scheduling to include evening, weekends and holidays.
Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
