Job Duties
As a Service Center Automotive Technician, you'll perform a wide range of services and duties in our Automotive Service Center.
This can include, but is not limited to:
Excellent customer service
Repair and install tires
Balance wheels
Install batteries, head lamps and other basic automotive parts
Perform oil changes
Brake system repair
Repair starting and charging systems
Steering and Suspension
Shock/strut installation
Alignments
Installation of trailer hitches and wiring
Other duties assigned with progressive on the job training
Qualifications
Must possess a valid driver's license
Must have great communication skills
Ability to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
Ability to read and speak English
Ability to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers
Must be 18 years of age or older
Prior auto repair experience is preferred
Prior retail experience preferred

As an Automotive Technician/Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure their safety and performance. Using advanced tools and equipment, you'll tackle mechanical and electrical issues with precision and efficiency, while following manufacturer and dealership standards. Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repair tasks as an Automotive Technician/Mechanic, adhering to dealership and manufacturer guidelines.
Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, steering, and suspension.
Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues effectively.
Conduct test drives and inspections to confirm proper repairs have been completed by the automotive technician team.
Provide accurate labor and time estimates for repairs, collaborating with service advisors and parts advisors.
Clearly explain mechanical diagnoses and necessary repairs to the service advisor.
