1965

1965 – Time Manufacturing Company is established in Clifton, Texas, building a 24 foot articulated

Sherman won the cut, and in 1965 he and his partner, Lloyd Drexler, took over management of the firm.

1969

In 1969 the federal government placed a limit of $5 million on these issues, effectively preventing their use for large-scale borrowing.

1971

Sales had doubled over the course of the decade to $332 million, but, at $3.1 million, net income was identical to 1971 levels.

1972

1972 – Time Manufacturing Company introduces the Tel 24/28, the first small telescopic aerial device, which has become and remained the standard for the telecommunications business.

1973

During 1973 alone, Allied acquired six agricultural machinery manufacturers: Standard Engineering Co., Kraus Manufacturing and Equipment Co., Industrial Scientific Co., Brewton Iron Works, Inc. and Gin Equipment, Inc.

1976

1976 – Time Manufacturing Company enters the Electric Utility industry, selling taller, insulated aerial lifts.

1977

1977 – Time Manufacturing Company begins selling Versalift vehicle-mounted aerial lifts internationally: to Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

1984

By 1984 Allied had posted three consecutive years of losses totalling more than $11 million.

1986

In 1986 sales rose to $420 million, and net income reached a record $15 million.

1987

1987 – Time Manufacturing Company introduces the VN-50, the company’s first insulated device reaching higher than 50กว.

1989

1989 – Time Manufacturing Company introduces the VST-40, the world”s first telescopic articulated truck-mounted aerial device.

1990

1990 – Time Manufacturing Company purchases Calavar Corporation, a manufacturer of high-reach aerial devices and self-propelled booms, in Santa Fe Springs, California.

1991

1991 – Calavar Corporation moves from Santa Fe Springs, CA to join Time Manufacturing at the company’s primary fabrication facility in Waco, Texas.

1992

1992 – Time Manufacturing Company establishes an international sales facility in Farso, Denmark.

1994

1994 – Versalift UK is founded and becomes the Exclusive Versalift Dealer for the United

1995

1995 – Time Manufacturing purchases the Texoma Digger Derrick product line from Reedrill in

By 1995 Allied retained only Bush Hog, manufacturing short-line implements for farming and land maintenance; Verson, producing metal forming presses; and Coz, a developer of thermoplastic resins and additives.

1996

1996 – Time Manufacturing Company introduces the SST-37, the first small articulated telescopic aerial device built expressly for the telecommunications market.

1997

Calvalar will be renamed Time Condor Corporation in 1997.
