About the role Job Summary: The Clinician I will assist the Director of Outpatient Services ensuring the provision of quality care in an outpatient mental health clinic serving individuals with co-occurring disorders. The Therapist provides direct, evidence-based assessment and treatment to youth, adults and families seeking substance use disorder treatment. Carries a caseload consisting of both adolescent and adult clients for individual and family therapy. Provides group therapy for the Adolescent IOP. Flexibility in schedule, working 3 evenings per week until 7 pm in an office setting. Duties & Responsibilities: Provides individual and family therapy for substance use and/or co-occurring disorders to clients for a percentage of time per week as appropriate for position and as directed by supervisor. To provide quality case management, utilization review and psychotherapeutic services to all psychiatric and dual diagnosis patient populations and their families and significant others in support of the hospital's comprehensive approach to patient care including mind, body and spirit.
