Comp tickets.
For me, the cut-throat environment & every man for himself mentality was difficult to navigate. For women, harrasment is commonplace. Every woman i know from work has a story to tell along those lines. In my dept. the managers sit in their air conditioned offices unbothered by us on the front lines in 100 ° heat, when we are short or getting slammed by crowds. They don't lift a finger to help. Ever. They don't even speak to us in passing. If you love this company & grew up w/the parks & movies & want to maintain that, do not work here!
Comp tickets/main gate.
There isn't much to like about corporate within the company. They're over paid & out of touch with us as employees (CM) and the guests.
Remove the CEO. Remove D'Amaro and rebuild from the ground up.
As a Disney fan from childhood, i spent my whole life waiting for that moment! I'd been preparing since I was 5!
Making a guest's day. Seeing a happy family enjoying their vacation. Doing my job well and with a smile despite crowds, heat and physical strain.
This company and it's inclusion.....the thing is, it's a great thing to make sure everyone belongs. The problem with this place is it's all spin!!! Women get no respect in lower roles a d frequently deal with harassment. *That's not inclusive *.
We are vastly underpaid by national standards. By Florida standards, TWDC pays above minimum wage.
