    Greenville, Ohio We are seeking an entry level Production Operator to join our Ethanol production team. Training is provided! This facility operates 24x7 and works 2 shifts per day (7:00 - 7:00 each.) Daily schedule includes weekend work on a rotating schedule. Shift assignment will be consistent but may not be permanent, so candidates must be able to work either day or night shift based on business needs. Position Overview This position is responsible for operations functions associated with the production of fuel ethanol and associated co-products. Key Responsibilities Perform processing functions in the cook, distillation, energy center and/or distributive control system (DCS) areas of ethanol production with assistance Perform activities relating to processing functions such as hammer mills management, slurry tank operations, yeast, fermentation, distillation, evaporation, dryer and boiler operations Monitor production processes and adjust equipment settings or raw materials inputs as directed to ensure the optimal efficiency in the production process. Perform general product sampling, document results, and report findings to crew leadership and/or laboratory personnel Maintain documentation and record key production data as directed Operate various types of mobile equipment Perform general housekeeping tasks What is expected of you and others at this level Has basic skills in an analytical or scientific method or operational process Works within clearly defined standard operations procedures and or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines Works with close supervision Minimum Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, Associate's level or higher degree preferred 0-2 years' relevant experience Basic computer operation and data entry skills Valid driver's license Previous production experience preferred Physical Requirements and Working Environment Work is performed in a 24x7 Ethanol production facility.
