Working at Tetra Tech

The CEO and leadership team are supportive and encouraging to employees who work outside of Corporate HQ and wish to participate in special Corporate HQ projects and operating system enhancements

I feel that the management of the various field offices and operating units should be better trained and committed to recognizing employees who work for them through better salary increases and/or bonuses.

In my experience my salary for my position at Tetra Tech as compared to the industry average was below thte average.

The representation of diverse demographics within Tetra Tech was satisfactory.

The most fulling aspect of my experience working at Tetra Tech was working with Corporate HQ personnel on operating system enhancements.

Tetra Tech's Corporate HQ in Pasadena provides excellent opportunities for motivated employees working elsewhere in the company to participate in development of new operating systems for the company and does an excellent job rewarding and recognizing employees who participate in in such special projects

It was my experience working at Tetra Tech that the hours were long due to inadequate staffing to properly perform one's responsibilities. Also, management of some Tetra Tech Operating demonstrate no loyalty to employees who work hard and perform well. They are quick to lay off employees and focus primarily on the bottom line and not on loyalty to excellent performing employees

My favorite perk was being given the opportunity on several occassions to work on special Corporate HQ projects in addition to performance of my regular duties.

The hiring managers create a positive environment for comradery among the employees.

Due to the nature of the business long hours are required for debris removal after a fire.

Unsure maybe having a car rental.

The junior staff across the company are all hard working and good people.

The left hand doesn't talk to the right. Executive Management is out of touch. Being bought by TetraTech has added its own set of headaches.

There are no good "perks" or benefits.

Personal responsibility for delivering projects on time. Good and flexible work environment.

Some technical issues.

401k, sometimes two bonuses in a year.

Fantastic moral and ethical contracts. Some very supportive management.

Lots of political issues and unethical behaviors that are not addressed.

Annual bonus given in the form of a sizable deposit to the 401k

slow to adapt to new technologies, poor cross-functional/cross-operation communication. Very much a who you know, not a what are you good at, kind of company.
