Summary/Objective
As part of the branch team, the Teller I serves as the face of Elevations for many of our members. This position provides account transaction services and engages with members to explore other financial needs. The Teller I is an important part of the branch team that creates raving fans through delivering amazing experiences-every member, every time.
Essential Functions
* Exhibits passion for Elevations Credit Union (ECU) and demonstrates Elevations' core values, Integrity, Respect, Passion, Creativity, and Excellence.
* Engages members using the Personalized, Elegant, Accurate, Kind, and Timely (PEAK'T) Service Model with care, professionalism, and the highest level of service to explore relevant solutions to members and refer to internal partners as identified.
* Performs teller transactions to include, but not limited to, processing account deposits, withdrawals, and payments promptly and accurately.
* Maintains high-level operational excellence in the completion of daily teller operations including but not limited to, cash balancing, completing opening and closing tasks and/or performing and/or supporting the completion of periodic cash control and operational audits.
* Develops good interpersonal relationships by helping members feel valued.
* Adheres to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations governing the Credit Union, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
* Follows process and procedures to protect members and ECU from fraud and loss.

Required Skills, Education and Experience:
* 6 months experience successfully managing customer service interactions in a fast-paced environment
* Equivalent to a high school diploma
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Work Environment:

Compensation Information:
The base pay of the budgeted range is $19.31 per hour, plus annual bonus.

Salary

What you'll do
The Teller professionally and accurately performs financial transactions for members, and cross-sells credit union products and services to help members achieve their financial goals and the branch achieve its sales goals. About the role
The Bank Teller/Customer Service Representative role processes transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures. Education Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent education certificate (GED)
Minimum Experience
* Minimum of 6 months of experience in a sales and service environment involving cash handling and face-to-face customer service interaction.

* Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and customer relation skills
* Attention to detail and mental concentration for accurately performing tasks
* Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously

* Proven ability to identify customer needs and tailor features and benefits of products/services to customers with differing needs

* Computer proficiency with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, required

* Ability to work during branch hours of operation

* General knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC related responsibilities in the performance of daily operations to ensure adherence to bank policies and compliance with all regulatory requirements
* Position requires lifting, carrying, or moving heavy items. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
* May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time
In accordance with Colorado law: Colorado pay for this position is anticipated to be between $30,422.08 - $45,633.12 , actual offers to be determined based on applicant's skills, experience and education.
