In this role you will:

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, outgoing, and tenacious New Account Representative to join our growing Sales team. This role is critical to expanding Microtech's footprint by identifying, contacting, educating, and onboarding new dealer accounts across the country. You will initiate outbound calls and emails, build rapport with potential partners, and turn leads into long-term, loyal accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct heavy outbound calling and emailing to connect with prospective dealers and retail partners
Identify new account opportunities through research, lead lists, referrals, trade shows, and inbound inquiries
Provide product education and brand information to potential accounts to build value and drive interest
Guide new dealers through the account setup process, including completing paperwork and placing initial orders
Maintain detailed records of outreach, follow-ups, and account progress in CRM tools
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to align messaging and outreach strategies
Meet or exceed weekly activity goals and monthly new account targets
Build strong, lasting relationships with new accounts to foster long-term business growth
Qualifications
1+ year of inside sales, account development, or customer engagement experience (preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable and confident making a high volume of outbound phone calls
Naturally driven, self-motivated, and enthusiastic about sales
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience with CRM systems and basic MS Office tools
Passion for knives, EDC (Every Day Carry) gear, or outdoor products is a plus
