The Teller is responsible for contributing to the overall success of a Retail Banking Center(s) by committing to banker-readiness, processing all transactions accurately and efficiently, contributing to the prescribed customer experience levels, maintaining disciplined operational objectives; all while striving for excellence in the execution of the mentioned areas. Position Responsibilities:
Customer Experience:
Introduce and refer customers to the platform through routine interactions
Provide remarkable customer service through all customer interactions, problem resolution, telephone answering, safe deposit, etc. Perform routine customer requests. Must successfully complete Comerica's Teller Training Program. Follow company policies and procedures, regulations and security procedures, and completes necessary documents. Use the provided electronics to document all transactions during their shift. Reconcile all transactions during and at the end of their shift. Maintains customer confidence and protects bank operations by keeping information confidential. Resolve basic customer complaints. Impact the customer experience following defined customer experience guidelines and other customer experience behaviors and feedback as needed.
Marketing Activities:
Complete assigned daily planning activities. Act as a digital ambassador to transition customers to digital solutions. Provide for customer engagement by introducing customers to Comerica's products/services, digital solutions and addressing customer questions, e.g., how-to use products and services and follows-up on a timely basis.
Operational Risk:
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and Regulations, and Comerica's policies and procedures. Ensure compliance and completion of necessary compliance related training. Adhere to all Banking Center Risk Assessment and Compliance Standards. Control and mitigate losses by following policies and procedures.
Partnership:
Consistently impact the efforts that improve Banking Center Collaboration. Identify opportunities to add value to customers by introducing them to partners.

Explain and proactively mention credit union services such as savings, loans, debit and credit cards, on-line banking, etc. When necessary, direct members to the appropriate person for specific information and assistance.
Assist members in completing various forms (i.e. transaction slips, payroll deduction/ACH, change of address, etc.).

The function of a teller is to play a vital role in the customer banking experience. Tellers are the face of ChoiceOne Bank. As a teller you will provide World Class Customer Service by handling transactions accurately and efficiently. Through your daily interactions with customer you will discover opportunities to help grow ChoiceOne Bank and introduce the customers to a banker.
REPORTS TO: Universal Banker / Assistant Branch Manager / Branch Manager
REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurately and in great confidentiality handle banking transactions
Advance funds from credit cards and other accounts
Miscellaneous duties may include night deposits, ATM balancing and service, supplies, answering phone, etc.
Assists with training of new teller staff.
Is responsible for being familiar with and complying with the provisions of the Bank Secrecy Act FACTA and USA PATRIOT Act as they relate to the functions of this position. Completes all required reports related to those acts and reports any observed violations or potential violations of those acts to a supervisor or other appropriate bank officer.
Performs other duties as may be required from time to time.
