Receives and pays out money, and keeps records of money and negotiable instruments involved in financial transactions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provides exceptional customer service by assisting clients with their bank transaction such as: receiving checks and cash for deposit, verifies amount, and examines checks for endorsements, place holds on accounts for uncollected funds. Explains, promotes, sells products or services such as traveler's checks, money orders, and cashier's checks. Promotes cross selling of our products and services. Accepts utility bills and loan payments. Completes all transactions according to banking regulations, including BSA/AML, and other corporate guidelines or procedures.
Education
24 Bachelor's degree credits approved or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience
Two years of experience in customer services, sales, cash handling or related experience.
Other Qualifications
* Ability to stand for long periods of time.
* Physical effort: Able to lift up to 50-pounds bags of coins.
* Willingness to serve the client.

On Call Vault Room Teller
Teller Job In Puerto Rico
The ASM Global On Call Vault Room Teller is mainly responsible for handling electronic transactions and Cash from different points of sales throughout the venue. Follows electronic transactions and Cash Handling Procedures protocols under the supervision of the Cash Handling Supervisor.
Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
* Create POS cash banks and keep in Security Vault.
* Hands individual POS electronic transactions and Cash, counts banks with cashier and records the transaction.
* During events, collects excess of cash from POS cashiers.
* Controls and records all cash issued to point of sale cashiers.
* Counts currency and coins and records on ASM Reconciliation Form.
* Analyzes stand sheets against all cash slips for variances.
* Reconciliates and records credit and debit cards transactions.
* Analyzes POS reports against cash and cards receipts slips for variances.
* Analyzes cashiers over/shorts and reports to Supervisor.
* Always ensures the safety & security of the cash.
* Logs & reports all tips received.
* Report to IT Technician and/or F&B Management any communication malfunction of the POS or credit card systems.
* Assist with Vault reconciliations at the end of an event.
* Counts and balances house bank.
* Works with Security personnel and F&B management for cash handling procedures violations.
* Assist with investigations regarding cash handling and electronic violations and other policies violations.
Supervisory Responsibilities
No direct supervisory responsibilities regarding other employees, only cash and cards transactions.
Qualifications

* High School Diploma
