The responsibilities of this position include but not limited to buying and selling foreign currency and U.S. currency to the traveling and non-traveling public at O'Hare and Midway Airports, accurately and efficiently processing bank transactions, and fully complying with company and departmental policies and regulations. Responsibilities: Performing as a paying and receiving teller. Accepting deposits: verifying cash for accuracy. Perform internal transfers. Answer phones and perform telephone transfers. Buy/sell money for teller drawer for the day's needs. Maintain cash in accordance with policy. Balancing teller drawer daily. Place holds on deposits as needed. Adherence to bank policies and procedures. Maintaining excellent customer service, greeting customers and facilitating a welcome and warm environment. Performs other job-related duties or special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. 1 or more years of teller experience required; cash handling required. 1 or more years of banking experience preferred. Ability to work independently. Ability to pass a background check run by O'Hare International Airport required during the badging process to gain access to the location inside security. Familiarity with foreign currency exchange is a plus. Recognize potential cross-sell opportunities and direct customers to appropriate bank personnel. Develop skills to recognize potential fraud and report to management as necessary. Comply with all department, bank and regulatory policies and procedures. Uphold established Wintrust culture. May be responsible for bank opening/closing and may be required to participate in community events.
