Responsibilities
Performs Preventive Maintenance (PM) and basic services on our MALDI Biotyper Systems. Preventive Maintenance involves verification of system performance, execution of detailed preventive maintenance protocols and final verification that the MALDI Biotyper application performs to Bruker specification. Preventive Maintenance also includes running complex organic and biochemical compounds that verify system performance.
Basic troubleshooting on-site using Digital Volt Meter (DVM) or via remote diagnostic software to independently determine whether an onsite visit is required.
Re-qualify the instrument after service repair by executing Operational and Performance protocols including running complex compounds for verification.
Makes travel arrangements and generates individual expense reports.
Secures customer's acceptance of the Preventive Maintenance or repair.
Coordinates customer WebEx Sessions, phone support, and lab facility inspection.
Required to attend certified MALDI Biotyper product training in German factory.
Communicates/works closely with service/support centers.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
B.S. Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, biotech or chemistry related fields or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years' experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electro-mechanical and/or electronic equipment.
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of MS Office products.
Basic understanding of network interfacing.
Valid Driver's license.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand manner.

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $72,000.00 and $113,000.00 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position. **Role Summary**
The Technical Success Engineer plays a vital role at Splunk and is responsible for ensuring the technical health of our customers. The Lead Help desk Engineer reporting to the Help desk manager. Provides IT operations functions to offices for the organization's standard hardware, software and voice/data network solutions. Responsible for the purchase, installation, and life-cycle maintenance of PCs, servers and LAN network connectivity equipment. As such he is the primary point of contact with vendors and contractors and first level escalation point for on-site support of hardware, software and network connectivity issues. * Install support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks)
* Install wiring for a variety of systems including, but not limited to, Access Control, Overhead Paging, Voice/Data Networks, and Security.

This position is responsible for collection and analysis of arterial blood, performing routine and moderately complex laboratory testing using manual and automated methods (at the benchtop and point-of-care) to assist with patient diagnosis and treatment. Collects blood samples using direct arterial entry, arterial lines and capillary finger and heel sticks on adults and neonates.
Performs specialized assays or procedures via various analytical methods using benchtop and point-of care analyzers.
Evaluates analytical results for error or unexpected values and competently engages provider or care teams to determine validity.
Prepares and performs quality control at prescribed intervals and evaluates quality control results versus established tolerances, troubleshoots required maintenance if needed and validates the method before returning analyzers to use for patient care.

Enters lab results into the computer and forwards test results to the patient chart.
