Responsibilities
Performs Preventive Maintenance (PM) and basic services on our MALDI Biotyper Systems. Preventive Maintenance involves verification of system performance, execution of detailed preventive maintenance protocols and final verification that the MALDI Biotyper application performs to Bruker specification. Preventive Maintenance also includes running complex organic and biochemical compounds that verify system performance.
Basic troubleshooting on-site using Digital Volt Meter (DVM) or via remote diagnostic software to independently determine whether an onsite visit is required.
Re-qualify the instrument after service repair by executing Operational and Performance protocols including running complex compounds for verification.
Makes travel arrangements and generates individual expense reports.
Secures customer's acceptance of the Preventive Maintenance or repair.
Coordinates customer WebEx Sessions, phone support, and lab facility inspection.
Required to attend certified MALDI Biotyper product training in German factory.
Communicates/works closely with service/support centers.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
B.S. Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, biotech or chemistry related fields or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years' experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electro-mechanical and/or electronic equipment.
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of MS Office products.
Basic understanding of network interfacing.
Valid Driver's license.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand manner.

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $72,000.00 and $113,000.00 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (to include, but not limited to):
Maintains, monitors, and performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
Mechanical areas to include operation and maintenance of multiple components within the HVAC system, plumbing installation/maintenance, generator operations, fire detection and suppression, life safety, temperature control systems, building management systems, and digital systems (including fire alarm, duress, card access, CCTV).
Electrical responsibilities include plan, implement, coordinate and supervision of all electrical operations, maintenance, and energy management programs for a critical facilities environment. Ensure conformance with all Change control development, approvals and execution.
Scheduling, development and quality assurance for all preventive maintenance, contracted maintenance, general maintenance.

Operates and monitors critical and non-critical system equipment and components. The OR Technician performs various duties as a member of the surgical team to ensure a safe and successful operative procedure. This position functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and directly reports to Surgical Services management.
It is expected that the Scrub Tech will support system wide and surgical operations initiatives and practices. In addition, this person will actively participate in the surgical operations safety plan as outlined.
The Scrub Tech has accountability for ensuring the operating room and all surgical items meet sterilization criteria. This person maintains the sterile field and a safe environment. The tech recognizes and addresses sharps and fire safety processes. The scrub tech prepares the operating room and instruments for the surgical procedure. The scrub tech may assist with sterile processing. This tech will assist the surgeon(s) during the procedure but stays within the ORT scope of practice. The scrub tech is able to identify emergency situations and exercise judgement when implementing procedures to respond to emergencies. On completion of the procedure, the tech will assist with room turnover, cleaning, and prepare for the next procedure.
The scrub tech is expected to participate in training and mentoring. This is separate from the clinical coach role (i.e. students, orderlies, etc.). This person will also provide or assist with at least one educational offering or a short-term project per year to the department under the direction of the OR Manager (i.e. skills lab, in-services, equipment review, x-ray gown inventory etc.)

Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Work Environment

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(75%) Patient Imaging
Performs routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeats
Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to the examination
Prepares patients for MR procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, position patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately scanned, and providing patient support by talking to patients throughout procedure
Adjusts scan parameters correctly and as needed
Maintains positive attitude and working relationships with radiologist, referring customers and other associates and peers
Converses with doctors, nurses, patients and family members as required
Follows physicians' orders precisely and conforms to safety regulations to protect themselves, their patients, and coworkers
Accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
Maintains an orderly and clean work area promoting good safety habits for patients and co-workers

Assists with maintaining an updated MRI protocol manual and software upgrades

Mobile Service Technician Job Summary
The primary function of the PacLease Mobile Service Technician is to perform routine maintenance services and repairs on Lease and Rental vehicles at various customer locations.
Mobile Service Technician Duties and Responsibilities
1. Performs all preventive maintenance and servicing of fleet vehicles as directed by PacLease Service Manager/supervisor. Performs all regularly scheduled maintenance on a timely basis.
2. Diagnoses mechanical, electrical or other service problems, determining necessary repairs. Reports recommended repairs and servicing to PacLease Service Manager/supervisor.
3. Performs additional maintenance and/or repairs as directed by Service Manager/Supervisor.
4. Operates Mobile Maintenance Vehicle, performing and/or assisting with emergency service and scheduled maintenance of fleet vehicles. Maintain stock of supplies on truck by communicating with supervisor and vendors about what is needed and when. Maintains company trucks and tools to keep them clean, safe and operational.
5. Operates Fleet vehicles as directed on daily basis, including test driving, delivering, fueling, and retrieving from customer locations.
6. Generates maintenance and service records of fleet vehicles serviced, including fleet vehicle inspection and maintenance reports, and forwards to PacLease Service Manager/Supervisor in a timely manner.
7. Completes all training, safety and certification programs required to ensure superior quality service, including CDL certification.
8. Complies with departmental safety program, minimizing on-the-job injuries and providing superior safety record.
9. Communicates with Department Manager, PacCentral, Customer and other department managers on a daily, weekly, monthly and as-needed basis, regarding repair estimates, maintenance and service appointments, and complaints. Ensures timely, competent and courteous relations with PacLease customers. Promotes the sales of Leasing and Rentals.
10. Assists PacLease Manager, PacLease Service Manager/Supervisor and other employees in the performance of their duties.
11. Performs maintenance and repair out of mobile service truck at customer's locations. Ensures that work area is clean, no spills or garbage is left behind.
Mobile Service Technician Qualifications
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
High school diploma or the equivalent.
Certificate of completion from a trade technical school in diesel mechanics or minimum two years' experience as a heavy duty truck repair technician.
Working knowledge of all heavy truck repair methods.
Excellent communication skills, including writing.
Professional personal appearance.
Must have own tool set sufficient to perform job requirements.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is physically demanding. Will lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Will stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle and feel. Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, paint, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials. Must climb in and out of customer's vehicles to record information and road drive. Will perform some desk work, including use of computer video monitor, telephone, ten-key calculator and completing paperwork. Will work outside in all weather conditions when required.

Work Environment
This job operates in a petrochechemical / refinery environment. Exposure to cold working conditions during winter months and hot working conditions during the summer months. Exposure to noise, workers must wear protecting hearing equipment or frequently shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level. In an emergency situation, exposure to hazardous chemicals may occur and the use of a respirator is required. All employees will be required to be fit tested for the various respirators used as well as the ability to successfully pass a pulmonary function test (PFT).
