Essential Duties of Work (May not include all duties performed
Thoroughly inspect diesel engine components including belts, hoses, fluids, brakes, and suspension systems to identify potential issues
Identify faults within the diesel engine system, including electrical issues, fuel injection problems, and engine performance discrepancies. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues within the diesel engine system including wiring and sensors
Perform routine repairs and maintenance tasks like oil changes, filter replacements, coolant checks, and tire rotations on light diesel vehicles and automobiles as needed
Repair and replace malfunctioning diesel engine components such as starters, alternators, and cooling system parts
Provide labor estimates and explain repairs to customers and regularly update service manager
Accurately document repair details, parts used, and customer information on work orders
Willingness to learn with hands-on training
Assist in keeping shop clean and organized
All other duties as assigned

· Meets the admission requirements set by Arkansas State University - Beebe.
· Pursuing AAS Degree in John Deere Tech program.
· Maintain at least a 2.0 grade point average while in the program.
· Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures.
· Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment.
· Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
· Proficient oral and written communication skills.
· Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly.
· Valid driver's license is required.
