Basic troubleshooting on-site using Digital Volt Meter (DVM) or via remote diagnostic software to independently determine whether an onsite visit is required.
Re-qualify the instrument after service repair by executing Operational and Performance protocols including running complex compounds for verification.
Makes travel arrangements and generates individual expense reports.
Secures customer's acceptance of the Preventive Maintenance or repair.
Coordinates customer WebEx Sessions, phone support, and lab facility inspection.
Required to attend certified MALDI Biotyper product training in German factory.
Communicates/works closely with service/support centers.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
B.S. Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, biotech or chemistry related fields or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years' experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electro-mechanical and/or electronic equipment.

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $72,000.00 and $113,000.00 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position. Electrical responsibilities include plan, implement, coordinate and supervision of all electrical operations, maintenance, and energy management programs for a critical facilities environment. Ensure conformance with all Change control development, approvals and execution.
Scheduling, development and quality assurance for all preventive maintenance, contracted maintenance, general maintenance.
