Position Overview:
Performs routine maintenance support of production equipment and machine building. Trouble shoots and repairs equipment electrical and/or mechanical malfunctions. Performs electrical, mechanical, carpentry, plumbing and pipefitting work associated with the installation of equipment. Assists in the building of new production equipment according to blueprints and schematics.
What you'll do
Responds to written work orders describing in varying detail electrical and/or mechanical problems with the production equipment. Communicates with the equipment operator and other maintenance technicians from other shifts to obtain information concerning production equipment malfunctions. Trouble shoots equipment problems and seeks to bring the equipment back in service as soon as possible. May need to weld parts to repair equipment.
Performs preventative maintenance on production equipment according to schedule determined by Maintenance Coordinator and Manager, Process Maintenance. May be teamed with a maintenance technician of another level to train or be trained in various phases of equipment maintenance.
Assists engineers or engineering technicians in the building of various production equipment such as laser tables, printers, collators, stackers and fabricators. Reads blueprints to assemble parts; redlines blueprints for corrections; reads schematics to wire electrical systems. Makes operational recommendations to engineers on functional design changes or adaptations to be made to production equipment
Writes/re-writes/revise PMs for any piece of equipment in BU.
Complete at least one PM as an individual or team member for every classification of equipment in BU.
Communicates with equipment operators on a regular basis to determine whether production equipment is operating correctly; at optimum efficiency and safely.
Keeps shop area clean and organizes repair parts as part of inventory

Two years technical trade school and four years practical experience
OR
Six years practical experience in maintenance disciplines (HVAC repair technician, equipment maintenance technician at an industrial/manufacturing company, certified auto mechanic, airframe and power plant school, or avionics technician).
EXISTING HD MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Hunter Douglas level one technician and completion of all Level II Training Certification requirements as well as passing score in areas tested under Maintenance Department Career Progression Program.

Who you are
Two years technical trade school and four years practical experience, or six years practical experience in maintaining disciplines
Work experience with electrical wiring of mechanical equipment. Must have been an active member of at least one department/company FOE Team. Must have been a member of a team building a new piece of equipment or major rebuild of an existing piece of equipment.
Solid knowledge of electrical circuits, simple relay logic, 24-volt systems.
Solid knowledge of the proper functioning and repair of AC/DC motors.
Solid knowledge of how to use, and ability to interpret, information from ammeters and voltmeters.
Solid knowledge of the principles of machine engineering and machine equipment building.
Solid knowledge of the use of hand held power tools such as drills; hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers; electric measuring devices such as, ammeters, voltmeters; shop equipment such as, mills, lathes, hydraulic press.
Solid knowledge of how to use precision measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.
Multi-tasking abilities essential.

We are looking for maintenance tech to support our existing and future liquid CO2 cleaning machines that we use to power textile circularity. This role will mostly be working on the warehouse floor with our machines to keep them running, clean, and in good working order. We are a small but fast growing and moving team so you will have a lot of responsibility. There is plenty of room for advancement as the team and company grow.
Tersus operates out of three warehouses around the Denver Area. Two are in Englewood (Dartmouth and Santa Fe) and one in north Denver (I-25 and 58th). We also have partners around the United States that will be using our machines that require service once a quarter. You will need to be able to fly out to complete maintenance checks and ensure that the machines are running optimally.
What you will be doing:
Maintaining equipment the company uses, including but not limited to:
Our high pressure CO2 cleaning equipment
Industrial water washers and industrial dryers
Chillers, boilers, hot water heaters and air compressors
Down extraction equipment (large shredder, separation equipment, dust collectors)
Forklifts and other warehouse equipment
Helping with installing and modifying warehouse racking as needed
Other General building maintenance.
Adhering to the Maintenance Schedules for machines
Help develop and manage a spare parts list and inventory, setting restock points and running regular audits to ensure accuracy.
Coordinating with vendors and contractors as maintenance requires it (HVAC tech, state boiler inspectors, washing machine tech, etc).
Keep spare parts inventory and the tool area organized.
Reading control diagrams and P&ID's to solve issues and trace problems, translating those documents into the physical machines.

Job Overview:
The Field Service Technician for Ingersoll Rand's Compression Systems and Services Division serves customers by installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all makes of rotary screw and reciprocating and/or Centac and ECC air compressors, along with additional compressed air system components. You will use precision measuring tools for diagnostic troubleshooting of compressed air equipment. In addition, you need to have knowledge of all operations and parts manuals associated with all equipment.
Responsibilities:
In addition to performing preventative maintenance on Ingersoll Rand compressed air equipment, our service techs will interact with customers to address existing and unanticipated equipment concerns. Collaborate with Service Coordinator on ordering and gathering parts and supplies necessary to complete installations and repairs. All service technicians will assist and train apprentices and Field Service Technicians.
Effectively communicates verbally and in writing with customers and co-workers.
Provides technical assistance on equipment pre-commissioning and start-ups, installations, and repairs of compressed air systems. Including “hands-on” work to assure equipment operates to customer's requirement with limited guidance from the Master Technician.
Increases Ingersoll Rand customers awareness of how Ingersoll Rand products, services, and solutions, such as Preventative Maintenance, Diagnostics, Audits and Leak Detection can benefit their operations.
Requirements:
2 years+ experience of troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI in the previous 5 years, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
Every service technician is required to be on-call, but you will not be on-call for the first 90 days to get used to the schedule.
