We are currently hiring E&I Technicians for our busy 24/7 manufacturing plant. This position is responsible for providing leadership, support, preventive maintenance, and service to all electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, thermal/mechanical systems and equipment used in amorphous metal production. Essential Job Functions: Committed to ensuring the safety of others and self through always working in a safe manner and following all safety procedures. Lead efforts to make total Quality the standard at the Conway plant through personal behaviors and ensuring that all appropriate parties are included in the problem-solving process. Performs part or all of the work below as assigned by supervisor. Repairs and maintains electrical systems, electronic systems, and various electric power systems (including digital and analog circuitry, inverter and power supply systems, lasers, AC and DC drive systems, relay logic and power distribution systems.) Maintains and repairs various mechanical systems including hydraulic systems, cranes, balers, casting-winding-packaging machines. Performs welding within scope of experience and training. Implements the established preventative maintenance program. Complies with all pollution, toxic, waste, and safety regulations and laws. Writes/assists in writing SOPs and training/trouble shooting procedures. Takes a leadership role in identifying, suggesting, and implementing continual improvements in equipment reliability and technician training.
