Position Summary:
American Equipment, a leader in in-house crane fabrication, parts, service, and material handling is hiring a Overhead Crane Service Technician for our Pocatello, ID branch. Join our team and be part of a 50+ year legacy to provide unmatched customer service!
Responsibilities:
Perform on-site preventative maintenance, repairs, and modernizations on electric overhead traveling cranes
Spend time consulting with customers on repair and safety related issues
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and breakdowns.
Generate sales leads during service calls
Accurately and neatly document on the service report for the work performed.
New crane wiring, assembly, installation, and start-up.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Travel may be required. Work vehicle provided.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong knowledge of AC/DC theory, as well as the ability to troubleshoot 480VAC 3 phase motor control systems. A.A. degree or Equivalent vocational-training or experience is preferred.
A minimum of 2-year hands-on electro-mechanical maintenance
Aptitude for both electrical and mechanical environments as well as familiarity with mechanical and electrical equipment
Willingness to work overtime
Possession of a valid driver's license with good driving record
Must pass drug-screen and background check
Strong communication skills
Proven commitment to safety
Comfort with working at heights
Experience in Variable Frequency drives and PLC programming a plus
Crane maintenance experience a plus.
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
On call or Overtime possible

Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.

You will provide support to INL Property Services as a Property Services Technician. You will report directly to the manager of the Property Management department.
Responsibilities Include:
* Manage property stewardship acknowledgements, approval reviews of INL off-site shipping documents to ensure assets and associated issues are properly identified and resolved, management procedures are followed, and the initiation of property determinations and analyses to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and directives, and conduct fieldwork activities across the site.
* Represent the department across INL, including working with federal agencies and other external customers.
* Create reports, analyze contracts, and ensure property is appropriately categorized and documented per INL/DOE property management system. Analyze contract property clauses for determination of both Lifecycle Tracked (LCT), excess, and disposal assets.
* Identify property, materials, and equipment. Review category determinations/analyses associated with proliferation-sensitive and export regulation guidelines, hazardous property determinations/analyses, and review and application of appropriate regulations and directives.
* Document analysis determinations and present recommendations to Property Services management, internal customers, federal agencies, and non-federal entities. Categorize and mark acquired property per INL and DOE-ID required guidelines.
* Manage formal property records and implement specific property management transactions and procedures to assure compliance with state, federal, and company policies and plans for management of government assets. Update records in database(s).
* Provide support to ensure continual accountability for government owned property.
* Maintain the INL property system procedures, Lab-wide procedures and processes as directed. May make recommendations for improvements and modifications.
* Be subject matter professional regarding property loans, borrows, exchange sales, warranty replacements, and abandonments. Manage internal and external correspondence for reporting and documenting completion of logistic and property (L&P) related federal CDRLs (prime contract deliverables).
* Collaborate with internal and external customers on specific property transactions and processes.
* Ensure proliferation reviews occur for off-site shipments, and ensure documented audit trail is available for all property transactions processed.
* Research issues and provide written recommendation to management on resolutions.

Document analysis determinations and present recommendations to Property Services management, internal customers, federal agencies, and non-federal entities. Categorize and mark acquired property per INL and DOE-ID required guidelines.
Manage formal property records and implement specific property management transactions and procedures to assure compliance with state, federal, and company policies and plans for management of government assets. Update records in database(s).
Provide support to ensure continual accountability for government owned property.
Maintain the INL property system procedures, Lab-wide procedures and processes as directed. May make recommendations for improvements and modifications.

Clarke Mosquito Services of Rigby, ID is seeking to hire a Seasonal Mosquito Field Technician. You will be responsible for inspecting mosquito breeding sites and applying larvicides to those breeding sites to control mosquito larval populations by truck and an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) with attached sprayer. Hands-on training will be provided in all areas, no experience needed. This position is perfect for someone who is interested in public health, sustainability, learning different aspects of mosquito operations and enjoys working outdoors. WORK SCHEDULE AND SALARY
This position earns a competitive wage of $15 per hour and generally works Monday - Friday 7am to 3pm (start/end times may vary, nights, weekends and some holidays may be required based on business needs). The Mosquito Field Technician is a seasonal position and supports our mosquito control operations (generally May - October).
Experience:
No previous experience is required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A MOSQUITO FIELD TECHNICIAN
RESPONSIBLITIES include but not limited to: (Training will be provided for all responsibilities)
* Ability to follow GPS Route and drive to potential breeding sites
* Inspect bodies of water, collect and label samples of mosquito larvae
* Apply treatment to positive breeding sites by hand or backpack
* Input field data into smartphone through company application
* Communicate with residents reporting standing water
QUALIFICATIONS
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* Have a valid driver's license with an excellent driving record
* Ability to learn to drive a truck trailer
* Possess a high school degree or equivalent with high school level math skills
* Communicate effectively in English in both written and verbal forms
* Required to pass the Idaho Department of Agriculture Exams (training provided)
* Ability to work during the entire season (generally May - October)
* Ability to work independently
* Ability to remove all jewelry in compliance to company policy
* Be able to sit, drive a vehicle for extended periods of time
* Ability to bend, lift, and carry a 60-80lb backpack during treatments for extensive amounts of time
* Candidate must be comfortable performing assigned duties in the field from a vehicle while navigating through various residential communities, urban environments and traffic patterns where environmental conditions that is affected by weather.
* Capable of using a handheld technical device including, but not limited to, smartphones, GPS, and system applications
* Candidate must also be comfortable performing assigned duties outdoors while walking through various and challenging terrain including, but not limited to water, heavy vegetation and uneven land throughout residential communities, urban environments, and forested areas where environmental conditions are affected by weather.

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for serving and managing assigned territory and customer base for the Soda Springs area. Repairs machines to the customer's satisfaction in the field or customer's location. Removes, installs, repairs, disassembles, assembles, performs failure analyses of all Caterpillar equipment including engines, attachments, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, power train, brakes, steering, and electronic and computer applications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Manages customer base and assigned territory. Schedules all customer work. Generates new business and maintains customer relations.
* Conducts necessary machine performance and diagnostic tests, interprets results and makes an independent decision as to the extent of machine repair. Provides services anytime as needed.
* Uses troubleshooting methods to repair and diagnose machine and attachment failures and performs repairs according to time requirement guidelines (TRG) standards. Escalates unresolved issues to Technical Communicators for further research and assistance.
* Adapts knowledge of Caterpillar machine systems to troubleshoot and repair new equipment models.
* Performs work in the field or at customer locations which can include overtime and overnight assignments.
* Repairs machines without error and consistently repairs machines within the time requirement guidelines.
* Repairs warranty and service letter issues efficiently and as soon as possible.
* Uses web based STW, SIS, and ET effectively to address technical issues. Performs all required tasks in accordance with outlined procedures.
* Conducts business professionally. Maintains self control and integrity in stressful situations. Maintains a professional image.
* Adheres to all customer requirements while on job site.
* Orders parts required to complete repairs. Evaluates parts to determine reusability and cause of failure.
* Completes service reports, time entry, and all other paperwork and reporting on a laptop and submits them daily via e-mail.
* Communicates machine issues, problem resolution plan(s) and status of repair(s) to customer during repairs.
* Adheres to all customer care standards.
* Actively cares and advocates safety at Western States. Adhere to all applicable safety policies, procedures and standards.
* May accomplish training and serve as a team member in support of Western States' strategic programs, projects, and initiatives.
* Work within and promote corporate vision, mission, and values of the organization.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
* Must be able to stand for long periods of time along with walking, sitting, climbing stairs, reaching pushing, pulling, leaning and twisting.
