Generally maintains and makes repairs to the companys buildings, equipment, machinery, and grounds. Uses various skilled trades (i.e. electrical, HVAC, hydraulic, mechanical, construction, etc.) to repair, build, or remodel new physical structures. Some basic plumbing work. Installs support equipment to physical structures, machinery or system infrastructures. Performs necessary preventive maintenance and general maintenance of all physical facilities and associated support equipment. Completes daily work orders. Uses required hand and power tools and equipment; operates company vehicles, trucks, vans, forklifts, lifting equipment, backhoes, snow removal equipment, tows trailers that require a CDL and various other equipment. Performs snow and ice removal at various times, day or night. Some overtime may be required.

Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION/TRAINING
High School diploma or equivalent.
Three years of supervised work experience in one or more of the following areas
Facilities Maintenance at the Journeyist Level; OR
Electrical at the Master or Journeyist level; OR
HVAC/Refrigeration installation/Repair/Trouble shooting at the Journeyist level; OR
Plumbing at the Master or Journeyist Level
Graduation from a UTA approved Trade Program that produces a Diploma/Certification of Completion in HVAC/Refrigeration OR completed an apprenticeship program and obtained an Electricians OR Plumbing Utah State License
Must pass a qualifying exam.
Must own complete set of standard hand tools, for either electrician, HVAC technician, or Plumber by the 91stshift as listed on Class A / Journeyist tool list.
Must be able to pass required DOT card
Must be able to obtain a Class A CDL drivers license by the end of probationary period.
Must have a valid Utah drivers license.
Be a safe driver with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
Cannot have any violations of driving under the influence of alcohol, any drug, or the combined influence of any alcohol or any drug within the last 10 years.
Must be able to work some overtime and holidays as needed.
Must be proficient at a basic level in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Must interview for position unless considered a lateral transfer within the Facilities Maintenance department.
EXPERIENCE
To qualify, must be skilled in one or more of the following areas:
Electricians must be skilled in troubleshooting, installing and repairing industrial electrical 3 phase and single phase motor controls (i.e., hydraulic motors, compressors, pumps, fueling equipment, etc.) as well as other general building electrical systems.
Refrigeration/HVAC Journeyist must be skilled in troubleshooting, repairing, and installing refrigeration equipment that uses R-410A and R-22 refrigerant, forced air natural gas systems heating systems, and boiler heating systems, in a multi-zone HVAC systems.
Familiarity with the working application and safe use of all power tools and instruments used in facilities maintenance for troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
Maintenance and repair of hydraulic / pneumatic systems, as well as other related equipment utilized in an industrial building and bus repair facility preferred.
Working knowledge of welding, brazing and soldering preferred.
This job requires regular and predictable attendance.

ABOUT THE ROLE

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
Conduct regular visual inspections of weighing, grinding, blending, conveying, kiln, and cooling equipment to ensure proper operation.
Monitor material flow from raw material storage to mills, silos, kiln, and clinker storage, ensuring continuous and proper movement.
Operate valves, slides, and gates to control material flow as directed by the Shift Supervisor.
Measure and report bin, tank, and silo levels to the Shift Supervisor or Control Room Operator as required.
Assist with preheater tower and kiln inlet scaling and perform minor equipment repairs when needed.
Support maintenance personnel with equipment repairs and communicate any malfunctions to the Production Supervisor.
Clean assigned work areas and assist with mixing additives during finish grinding when necessary.
Start auxiliary motors and ensure all systems are running according to directions from the Control Room Operator.
Maintain clear communication with incoming and outgoing Production Teams and Supervisors regarding equipment status and operating conditions.
Operate heavy equipment including wheel loaders, skid steers, dump trucks, forklifts, and manlifts as required.

Under the direction of the Facility Manager, this position requires extensive hands-on analysis, maintenance and troubleshooting of our 24x7 facility operations within Aligned Data Center. Work includes installation, repair, and maintenance of critical and non-critical mechanical and/or electrical machinery and controls located in the interior and exterior of building.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (to include, but not limited to):
Maintains, monitors, and performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
Mechanical areas to include operation and maintenance of multiple components within the HVAC system, plumbing installation/maintenance, generator operations, fire detection and suppression, life safety, temperature control systems, building management systems, and digital systems (including fire alarm, duress, card access, CCTV).
Electrical responsibilities include plan, implement, coordinate and supervision of all electrical operations, maintenance, and energy management programs for a critical facilities environment. Ensure conformance with all Change control development, approvals and execution.
Scheduling, development and quality assurance for all preventive maintenance, contracted maintenance, general maintenance.
Routinely performs all work in strict accordance with governing MOP/SOP/ERP procedures, and maintenance work instructions.
Operates and monitors critical and non-critical system equipment and components. Oversees work efforts (including 3rd party contractors) for safe and compliant operation, maintenance (corrective and preventive), and modification of critical equipment. Disables and enables fire alarm control panels and systems.
Receive and execute work orders for preventative and corrective maintenance on critical systems and building physical structure. Consult with Facility Manager or Lead CFT to order necessary materials to complete all maintenance and perform necessary work. Finalize work orders by completing necessary documentation in the computerized maintenance management system.
Respond immediately to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.) and customer concerns.
Monitors building operations and tours properties periodically during scheduled shift.
Receives work order for Preventative and Corrective maintenance on electrical systems and building physical structure. Consult with supervisors and staff as appropriate to identify and order necessary materials to complete all maintenance and perform necessary work. Finalize work orders by completing necessary documentation.
Understand the engineering design and operational aspect of all electrical systems.
Evaluate, assign and monitor the safe work responsibilities and safety procedures capabilities of employees and contractors.
Respond quickly to emergency situations, develop and communicate and improve ADC's processes to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.

Overview

JOB DUTIES: (including to but not limited to)
• Set up for events using folding chairs, stacking chairs, tables of various shapes and sizes, staging and drapery
• Operate buffer, rider sweepers/scrubbers, walk behind scrubbers, blowers, vacuums, forklifts and other various equipment
• Climb stairs and lift 40 lbs. unaided
• Safely use cleaning chemicals and communicate proper cleaning procedures to staff
• Comprehend and communicate clear instructions for event sets ups
• Be able to recognize overall look and feel of the building, maintaining symmetry and cleanliness
• Be able to greet guests with a smile and provide basic event, building and community information
• Perform other duties as assigned

ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsible for maintaining and inspecting raw grinding, finish grinding, raw materials blending, calcining, clinker cooling, coal mill, and auxiliary equipment to ensure proper operating condition. Also assists in the operation of equipment.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
Conduct regular visual inspections of weighing, grinding, blending, conveying, kiln, and cooling equipment to ensure proper operation.
Monitor material flow from raw material storage to mills, silos, kiln, and clinker storage, ensuring continuous and proper movement.
Operate valves, slides, and gates to control material flow as directed by the Shift Supervisor.
Measure and report bin, tank, and silo levels to the Shift Supervisor or Control Room Operator as required.
Assist with preheater tower and kiln inlet scaling and perform minor equipment repairs when needed.
Support maintenance personnel with equipment repairs and communicate any malfunctions to the Production Supervisor.
Clean assigned work areas and assist with mixing additives during finish grinding when necessary.
Start auxiliary motors and ensure all systems are running according to directions from the Control Room Operator.
Maintain clear communication with incoming and outgoing Production Teams and Supervisors regarding equipment status and operating conditions.
Operate heavy equipment including wheel loaders, skid steers, dump trucks, forklifts, and manlifts as required.
