JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparing Nutrient Management Plans for members using SnapPlus software program, including plans for Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFOs)
Work with growers and agronomists to take advantage of opportunities in developing sustainability markets
Potential for crop scouting, soil and tissue testing and operational responsibilities
Assist agronomists with farm meetings, sales interviews, proposals and presentations of nutrient management plans and other products and services
Establish a good working relationship with County LCD, State DNR and Federal NRCS staff
Responsible for providing a consistently high level of customer service and satisfaction
Customer conversations focused on their unique needs and the continual profit improvement of the customer
Identify and respond to the customer needs
Prioritize daily activities
Provide operations personnel with concise directions and communications to ensure smooth efficient customer service
Accessible to customers and fellow employees during hours of business operations
Work with other Country Vision Cooperative employees on a daily basis
Travel between Country Visions Cooperative buildings and customer locations will be required

Experience writing NMPs using the SnapPlus program. Previous CAFO NMP writing experience is a plus
An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or related 1-2 years of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of crop production management
Have a Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) certification
Have or willing to obtain a certification as a NRCS Technical Service provider
Excellent written and oral communication skills

The Role:
The Lead Researcher and Content Writer is responsible for researching and writing articles and book summaries related to neuroscience, mental health, trauma, and related fields. In this role, you will identify, connect, and network with academic thought leaders and existing CPI customers, read and synthesize research on key topics, and translate complex topics and research into clear, engaging content.

Be the point person for researching and providing accurate and timely answers to neuroscience, neurodiversity, mental health, or trauma-related questions or requests.
Conduct web research to identify thought leaders, read research summaries, and write accessible, up-to-date, and evidence-based content.
Review academic papers, research studies, and reliable websites and synthesize findings into accessible and factually accurate articles.
Responsible for researching and writing “Deeper Dive” articles that provide in-depth summaries of key topics that connect to key CPI program and product principles.
Use web searches and research article reviews to identify highly regarded academic programs and relevant thought leaders in neuroscience, neurodiversity, mental health, and trauma.
