Expertise in modern programming languages (Python, TypeScript, Go, or similar).
Experience building self-serve SaaS platforms with AI-powered automation and dynamic configuration capabilities.

What This Role is Not:
This is not a Network Administrator, or a robotic IT Technical role.

Deliver high quality, effective technical support for the firm's desktop hardware and software systems, ensuring exceptional client service to end users. Administer and monitor technical support workflows through the help desk ticketing system. Assess and prioritize the end user inquiries and issues. Perform setup, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair activities for user hardware and software solutions. Assist end users with requests and issues to ensure the daily availability and proper operation of their devices and desktop software.
The employee in this role will be required to work in the New York City office 5 days a week.
This position is based in New York City and requires flexibility in work hours, including the ability to work evenings and weekends up to six times per year. Candidates should be prepared to adjust their schedules to accommodate these occasional demands.
Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
Deliver high quality, effective technical support for the firm's desktop hardware and software systems. Assess and prioritize the end user inquiries and issues. Ensure that requests are handled in accordance with service level agreements. Utilize established help desk workflow procedures and tools to provide prompt action, detailed communication and complete resolutions.
Identify, troubleshoot, analyze and resolve user technical issues. Apply fixes and document solutions. Document and report on issue status to Technology Client Support management. Escalate complex issues using established procedures.
Perform setup, maintenance and upgrades of user hardware and software solutions in conjunction with Technology Client Support team members and other system administrators.
Administer desktop security protocols according to IT Security procedures. Document and report security incidents to team management.
Ensure all activities are in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in IT related field preferred.
2 - 5 years of experience in technical support or systems administration required; financial services industry experience preferred.

The Grants Associate (Office Associate) functions as the administrative support and post-award lead for the FIT Office of Grants and Sponsored Programs, which researches, solicits, secures and administers grants for faculty research, curriculum development, institutional special projects, exhibitions, and other campus needs. The incumbents responsibilities will focus on post-award grants administration, including budget management, compliance, and financial reporting. This encompasses spearheading, organizing and conducting a diversity of post-award services including (but not limited to) report and budget preparation, compliance monitoring, communicating FIT policies and procedures to grantees, troubleshooting, coordinating with other FIT divisions, and other pre- and post award tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities:
* Spearheads receipt of grant funds and ongoing post-award management(cost centers, ensuring fund access, acknowledgements, coordinating with project directors, ensuring accuracy of post-award documents, ongoing monitoring and reconciliation of post-award expenditures and budgets), in partnership with project PIs and pre-award specialists.
* In collaboration with OGSP Executive Director and pre-award specialists, prepares grant financial reports and budget reconciliations, and communicates reporting and compliance requirements to grantor in a timely manner.
* Responsible for reimbursement (invoicing) requests to grantors for awards that require reimbursement. Includes ensuring that funds are secured before the end of the fiscal year.
* Coordinates with project PIs (project directors) and the FIT Office of Finance and Administration to help ensure grant funds are received and expended correctly and that reports are accurate. Interfaces with a diversity of web-based grant platforms, (incl. Fed/ State/Etc.), to develop/submit reports.
* Serves as an OGSP/campus resource for info on FIT post-award policies, procedures and requirements. Supports trouble shooting for grant administration and program implementation. Understands/provides guidance on Grantor compliance issues and communicates these to grantees/stakeholders. Proactively seeks-out answers to post-award/project implementation procedural questions.
* Supports selected pre-award proposal budgets/budget narratives, including pre-award technical prep, as assigned.
* Serves as OGSP representative to FIT campus operational meetings, as required.
* Maintains master OGSP Grant Proposal Calendar to ensure it is current; tracks and communicates upcoming deadlines in a timely manner. Liaises among FIT OGSP/Administration/Finance/others to ensure accurate financial management of award funds and post-award compliance.
* Develops/maintains internal/external contacts to proactively obtain info for preparing reports that accurately reflect activities and accomplishments of PIs and FIT.
* Supports OGSP department budget and closeout. Processes department invoices, coordinates with vendors.
* Maintains OGSP Website and revises as needed. Advises on website structure and functionality.
* Supports OGSP department programs designed to inform the FIT community about grants, train staff, and build engagement.

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
* Associate's degree required.

* Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel, and experience with web-based grants submission platforms. Familiarity with desktop publishing helpful. Competent math skills, especially as relates to budget development and management, are essential.
* Strong office administration skills and attention to detail, including scheduling, organizing and filing documents, accurately tracking and communicating deadlines, taking and producing professional meeting minutes, etc.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, to work effectively in a collegial, professional and service focused manner with a diverse group of faculty and staff, in support of campus and department mission.
