ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Job Responsibilities:
1. Selects appropriate mode of transportation through correlation of patients ability,
exam ordered, and age of patient: pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric
2. Transports patient in a timely manner by wheelchair or stretcher
3. Demonstrates competence in lifting and moving patient, using proper
body mechanics and proper moving equipment
4. Demonstrates competence in ability to transport patients with O2 and
IV's maintaining appropriate administration
5. Collaborates with nursing unit to assure required documentation is
complete and patient is signed in and out appropriately
6. Assists the Radiology Technologist as needed
Qualifications
Education Requirements and Other Requirements:
Educational level: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Certification/Licensure -Current BLS: Required
