MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Current FVCC student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits per semester, and Ability to work under a minimal level of supervision and be self-motivated, and Possesses basic computer skills, and Ability to communicate effectively with students and employees, and Ability to follow direction and procedures STUDENT SKILLS DEVELOPMENT: Communication, critical thinking, time management, customer service, professionalism PREDICTED OUTCOME: Practical competence, effective communication, critical thinking, time management, collaboration, professionalism STUDENT EMPLOYMENT GUIDELINES: Students must be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credits for fall or spring semester to qualify for student employment. Students may not work beyond 19 hours per week during semester. Student workers shall be actively engaged; no use of cell phones (except in case of emergency) or social media. Student workers shall demonstrate a commitment to the job with adherence to work schedule, effective communication/interpersonal skills, and quality customer service skills to be a representative of FVCC. Level 4 or higher in the Montana Career Path, PDS II, and completion of all required state training and certifications. Experience teaching, mentoring, coaching in an ECE classroom/program setting. Experience working with a variety of ECE program types preferred, including, both family and group childcare. Fluency in Spanish is preferred for this role. Experience delivering services in the Practice-Based Coaching model preferred.
