Responsibilities
As Systems Integration Technician, you take the overall responsibility for the assembling, integration, and testing of our rack systems according to schematics and test plans.
Responsibilities include sourcing of third-party components, integration and test of rack systems, workplace safety, stock and inventory management, local and onsite factory acceptance testing and training, and logistics.
In this position, you closely collaborate with the assembling, testing, project management and system engineering teams in Switzerland. Their teams provide the engineering of the complete system including implementation specifications based on EPLAN schematics and rack layouts assuring that technical and regulatory requirements are met regarding product safety and electromagnetic compatibility in a mixed signal environment
You are responsible for wiring and testing our standard rack cabinets. This includes assembly of the 24, 38, and 42U rack cabinets, as well as mounting and wiring of the electrical and mechanical components. You test and document the cabinet according to EN 61439 and support the project managers with testing and commissioning of the HIL simulator.
You are responsible for factory acceptance testing and onsite commissioning of the complete setup, and conduct training related to usage of the rack systems.
Besides the rack cabinet projects, you may also help in the Production department for assembling and testing of our off-the-shelf products for real-time simulation and testing.
You enjoy elaborating complex systems in collaboration with partner companies and internal technical experts and bringing in your experience in rack cabinet design.
Key Tasks

Essential Functions
Livestock Care:
* Coordinate and participate in the daily care of sheep, goats, pigs, poultry, horses and cattle, including feeding/providing water, and environmental cleaning.
* Assist in the maintenance of animal health, including daily observation, administration of prescribed treatments, and participation in monitoring programs (such as body condition scoring, FAMACHA evaluations, and parasite fecal flotations).
* Implement standard operating procedures based on evidence-based best management practice protocols provided by the facility.
* Assist with the organization and management of breeding and the subsequent lambing/kidding of approximately 35 ewes/20 does, and the farrowing of sows.
* Assist in the organization and preparation of livestock, their products, and the farm facilities for classes, research, sales and public outreach events.

* Conduct daily inspection of farm livestock facilities, including barns, fences, shelters, and pastures. Maintain professional standards for cleanliness, biosecurity, organization, and safety.
* Operate equipment and motor vehicles, including but not limited to tractors, truck/trailer, mower, UTV, and so on to conduct facility maintenance and travel to work sites.
* Assist with the development and implementation of pasture management programs based on the needs and goals of livestock operation and best management practices. Assist with hay and forage production; manage and spread manure; apply pesticides/herbicides, as needed.
* Trouble-shoot problems with electric fencing, shelters, water bowls/basic plumbing, and basic carpentry. Perform facility maintenance/ repairs/improvements and notify supervisor of needed work orders.
