The AWS Data Center Community (DCC) organization is looking for an individual with proven and tested leadership skills to join the Facility Operation Center (FOC) team. The FOC launched as a singular support team to proactively monitor the life-safety systems and the infrastructure equipment alarms that provides power and cooling to the platform on a global 24x7x365 basis. We support Data Center Engineer Operations teams who are responsible for the operation of infrastructure equipment.
The FOC Technical Specialist facilitates and deep dives customer impacting events, locates systemic infrastructure issues using data driven analysis to drive solutions and serves as a subject matter expert on department processes. The FOC Technical Specialist is responsible for the design, creation, and launch of new learning content, creating and maintaining all FOC documentation globally and managing the technical training of the team across the regions. You will play a significant role in the career development of the global FOC team by mentoring and helping managers guide the career growth of their team members. You are responsible for leading team members across regions and functional areas to accomplish organizational goals.You will guide the team on improving operational efficiency for all services through the identification and development of SLAs, metrics, workflows, procedures tools and documentation. You will lead data analysis and engagement of partner teams to drive corrective actions by utilizing processes, such as After Action Reports (AAR), Correction of Errors (COE), AWS Customer Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Lessons Learned, and Global Action Items. You will be responsible for delivering global projects while influencing stakeholders by creating reports, improving processes, and narratives. You will be expected run effective projects and programs independently. You will support team goals and projects by providing feedback, and technical support as required.

Key job responsibilities
* Ability to perform all Lead FOC Engineer responsibilities, acting as a backup for the Lead.
* Provides support to team during Critical Site (CSE) and Large Scale (LSE) events
* Deep dives post event data and reviews all After Action Reports (AAR) to ensure standards are met.
* Meet or exceed FOC KPI's in project delivery to develop and drive FOC Engineer efficiency projects which reduce manual tasks.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Support the Federal Program Manager with tracking the program's work and progress.
Provide subject matter expertise and support to the development and review of policy, technical, planning, operational and other documents related to the program and the interagency nuclear forensics mission.
Critically review, assess and report on technical efforts relating to the program, including reports and deliverables from the National Laboratories, proposed and ongoing technical capability improvements and Research & Development, gap analyses, and scientific studies and reports.
Organize, facilitate, participate in, and contribute to program, office and interagency nuclear forensics meetings, forums, working groups, conferences and program reviews involving subject matter experts from other DOE/NNSA offices, the National Laboratories, other Departments and Agencies, and international partners.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Maintenance of an official passport and current appropriate immunizations.

Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. PSI seeks a Senior SBCC Advisor to lead PSI's work under the USAID Sustaining Epidemic Control through Unified Prevention (SECURE) Activity, a five-year initiative focused on providing person-centered, evidence-based HIV prevention, testing, and treatment services across Lesotho. The project aims to address and close critical HIV prevention and treatment gaps, working in collaboration with the Government of Lesotho and leveraging past successes to advance a sustainable, equitable response to the epidemic. This person will oversee the scale-up of SBCC services across the SECURE consortium.
The Senior Advisor will be responsible for leading successful implementation of SBCC workstreams throughout the project lifecycle from start-up to close-out. Accountable for delivery of all aspects of SBCC activities and oversight and supervision of project staff. Lead departmental/functional strategy development and work planning and supervise the team responsible for implementation. Serve as a subject matter expert internally and represent the project externally with donors, partners, and other stakeholders.
What You'll Do
Develop departmental/functional strategic priorities in collaboration with SECURE senior management team. Develop and oversee workplans and budgets to execute strategic priorities.
Monitor deliverables and progress, course correcting when necessary. Drive the utilization of evidence-based tools, innovations and best-practices to improve the project's performance.
Develop and manage strategic partnerships with external stakeholders and partners. Ensure effective collaboration between stakeholders and partners. Represent SECURE at internal and external meetings, conferences, and donor meetings.
Support SBCC capacity building of staff and partners engaged in activities related to area of expertise.

Supervise and develop team members. Make recommendations concerning employment, termination, performance evaluations, salary actions, and other personnel actions. Set team and individual goals. Do you have what it takes?
Must be at least 21 years old.
Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Possess and maintain a valid driver's license for the state where you reside; and maintain all state and local licensing requirements.
Ability to pass a physical examination as required by the Department of Transportation and/or Company policy.
3 years of experience in an automotive/mechanical environment, or technical school, or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales and/or customer service role is preferred.
Lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 pounds; bend, kneel and balance to change tires, inspect and to push vehicles; and use hand tools to provide service.
Satisfactory pre-and post-employment screening results, including criminal, drug, and motor vehicle screening.
Operate passenger vehicles and light-medium duty trucks (both manual and automatic transmissions) while primarily working from a service vehicle.
Communicate effectively in writing, verbally, via email, and using assigned technology such as GPS (Global Positioning Systems).
Successfully complete required departmental training courses within 60 days of hire, and additional future department training as required. (May need to adjust your schedule to attend training).
What will you do?
Provide lock-out, fuel delivery, battery jump starts, and tire change services using established guidelines and quality control procedures.

Sell and install car batteries (

).
Communicate with members effectively to keep them informed and to ensure their safety.
Make sound decisions regarding the safe service of vehicles and to accommodate member needs.
Enter call information accurately into in-truck technology, process payments, handle cash, and complete reports as required.
Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections, ensuring that all are in safe operating condition and that all requirements are met. Ensure that the fleet vehicle and all equipment are adequately secured at all times, including when the vehicle is not in use.
Support AAA as needed by participating in special events (parades, television, radio, and social media) promoting the brand.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance (PA) experience or relevant experience
* A Bachelor's degree or appropriate years of relevant experience (depending on LCAT)
* Depending on the LCAT a professional certification may be required/preferred
* Must have the ability to obtain and maintain DHS Public Trust
* Must be a United States Citizen
* Microsoft Office skills
* Must have ability to deploy to any location in zone 2 with a 24-48 hour notice
* Zone 2 includes Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin and Wyoming
* Must be comfortable and experienced using a Smart Phone
* The ability to go on 6-12-month deployments at a minimum
* Must have a sound technical knowledge base of discipline's standard concepts, principles and techniques
* Must be able to work independently, in a team environment and under stressful conditions with tight deadlines
Additional desired experience and skills:
* Knowledge of the FEMA Public Assistance Program/Policy
