What you'll be working on:
Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits
Treating patients in-office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
Supervising one or more NP or PA colleagues
Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:
Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics residency program
Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing all ages (0+)
Board certified in Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date

Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking board eligible/board certified pediatricians to serve as hospitalists in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU). The PICU at Nationwide Children's spans 54 beds, though the PICU hospitalist program focuses primarily on a 24-bed unit that provides care to patients with acute critical illness as well as those with chronic technology dependence. PICU hospitalists will work alongside an established group of advanced practice nurses and provide front-line care under the supervision of pediatric critical care medicine faculty and fellows.
The PICU at Nationwide Children's Hospital provides care for approximately 3,000 patients each year across the spectrum of medical and surgical disease. The Division of Critical Care Medicine is home to 27 board-certified pediatric intensivists and 12 pediatric critical care medicine fellows.
