Assist in new hire orientation, coordinate MVSE onboarding, complete general new hire training period for all new team members and maintain training files. Plan, execute, and track ongoing team member training (mandatory and other topics as needs are identified) through routine testing and assessment. Gather routine feedback and training observations/recommendations from mentors or subject matter experts and clinical trainers for each new team member. Ensure completion of specific task/procedure training for clinical skills by coordinating with appropriate team members. Facilitate additional clinical training as needed. Schedule and coordinate internship programs. Manage and submit CE lecture applications for both TBVME and RACE approval for newly created lectures. Qualifications: Education: Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) in Texas (preferably in Emergency/Critical Care, Anesthesia or other applicable specialties), tenured LVT candidates with extensive experience in ER/Specialty environment will also be considered. Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of district's curriculum program and show written evidence of preparation as required. Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, equipment, and technology that reflect understanding of the learning styles and needs of students assigned and present subject matter according to guidelines established by Texas Education Agency, board policies, and administrative regulations. 3.
