The Teacher will collaborate with teachers of the same subject to ensure alignment and continuity of material, as well as with all other teachers for best-practice sharing of techniques, technology use, and consistency of message regarding student expectation and success. . The Teacher is expected to track and communicate student performance, suggest and support strategic initiatives to help increase the academic offerings and performance of the student body, as well as all other tasks and responsibilities as required. Teachers report to the Principal, however, they will meet with the Academic Assistant Principal and Dean of Students regularly throughout the school year. They will also work very closely with the Corporate Work Study team members to ensure a positive balance between work and school for each student. When required, the Teacher will also work with the School Counselor to ensure any student concerns that are not academic-related are communicated and addressed.
