    These positions provide, to assigned students, instructional and educational services including assessing students for need, selection, and provision of appropriate instructional resources, providing guided and independent practice, evaluation of progress, and appropriate remediation. Services also include maintenance of records and reporting student data as required. Salary Information The starting pay rate of is $29.13 per hour, plus excellent benefits. Candidates may receive supplemental pay, up to $2.97/hr., for additional credits relevant to the position that are over & above the credits needed for certification. Pay on appointment for current state employees may vary according to the applicable pay transaction provisions of the compensation plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code. The pay schedule/range is 13-04. A 12-month probationary period may be required. There is a current $3.00 add on pay for all worked hours. Candidates with no prior permanent employment with the State of Wisconsin in the past 5 years may be eligible to accept a sign-on bonus of $2,000. The sign-on bonus will be paid in two installments: $1000 on the first paycheck and $1000 with the paycheck for the pay period in which the employee attains permanent status (usually 1 year). To receive the bonus, a candidate must sign an agreement indicating they will remain in that position for a year. If the candidate leaves their position prior to completing the one year, they may be required to reimburse the initial payment.
