Utilizes progress monitoring data to provide direct support to identified students through the structured Dyslexia curriculum. Monitors the progress of students in the general education curriculum who require Dyslexia instruction.
Tracks data and manages the referral of students within the MTSS process. Develops and maintains District reports and provides updated data from assigned schools and the District office.
Meets compliance, data collection, monitoring of intervention and progress monitoring data for Tier 2 and 3 students.
Develops and conducts professional development activities regarding modification techniques that can be utilized by classroom teachers to address academic deficits that relate to serving students diagnosed with Dyslexia.
Assists instructional staff with development of instructional strategies/techniques and interventions for students who have characteristics of Dyslexia.
All other duties, as assigned and required, in order to perform the above services.

Supporting general education teachers in working with gifted learners in the general ed classroom.
Providing instruction based on guidelines for differentiating curriculum, and best practices.
Analyzing data to determine individual students' areas of strength and areas in need of improvement.
Monitoring student progress through formal and informal assessments.
Implementing a pro-active, consistent classroom management system.
Administering gifted assessments and maintaining all gifted documentation as required by CCPS Division of Teaching and Learning & Strategic Improvement.
Participating in Professional Development workshops and opportunities.
All other duties, as assigned and required, in order to perform the above services.
KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree or higher required.
Minimum of one (1) year of teaching experience preferred.
Knowledge of and experience implementing various gifted instructional and teaching methodologies.
Makes recommendations and/or decisions which usually affect the entire school.
Certification by the State of Georgia in Early Childhood Education T-4 to T-7 as required by the GaPSC.
